Meyers Spisehus Lyngby-Taarbæk

Meyers Spisehus disappointed me. The pleasant atmosphere and excellent pizza from the oven are a plus, but they do not justify the slow service (almost an hour wait) and the uninspiring main course for such money. I recommend going just for the pizza, not for a full dinner.

Spacious premises, cold atmosphere, attentive staff, average food.

Rustic atmosphere but great food and helpful and friendly service.

Food is good. Service is poor. We all started with a great beef tartare, and a not-so-great bland burrata. Following that theme, we also got a bland potato and pancetta pizza. Although, all the other pizzas we tried were nice, especially the truffle salami one. The main highlight of this place is still the service though. Took them a long time to bring the food and the waiters are simply inattentive to customers asking for a refill on water for example. Would not go again.

Nice place that can accommodate a lot of people without it really feeling packed. Nice good service and used for lunch with customers and price just under 300 per nose.

Everything was three stars. Nice waiters, who forgot about us about halfway through. Food that is not at the level that Meyers had. Our open sandwiches with egg/shrimp are much better prepared in many other places. And we were placed in the area by the door. It looks more like an airport than a restaurant. But they must have thought about that, because you want to leave the place again.

It's indescribably delicious. Really well thought out menu and delicious food. Everything works. I'm sorry there isn't a baker anymore…

Service and atmosphere were really nice on a Wednesday evening, we were a big company and we were placed in a secluded area which was hyggelig. Service was nice for such a large group that didn't take the 3-course menu for the whole table. The starter we chose was burrata and bread which was very tasty. The main course was the disappointing one, as the salmon fillet was weirdly undercooked (raw in the middle) for a few people. The accompanying lentils were tasty.

The pizza was tasteless and boring. And at that price, the taste should be the best.
