Mielcke & Hurtigkarl Frederiksberg

Probably one of the best dining experiences in CPH. Dining menu was a mix of new Nordic and Japanese influences with amazing variety, and interesting flavor combinations. Personnel was exceptional from start to finish. Atmosphere is very relaxed and ideal for a date but also bigger groups. This place will always be on my list if I want an outstanding dining experience. It comes at a cost, but I think it is well worth it and can for sure compete with other pricey restaurants

It's impressive what they can create with food. 16 fantastic dishes and several of them we could have easily eaten more of. Fantastic experience and service.

Stunning presentation and delicate flavours. My favourites were the first dish with chawanmushi, the lovage butter, the ragout and the petit fours. Memorable meal for special occasions.

Overall, a decent dining experience with a mix of highlights and a few misses. The raw halibut with tomato juice was a standout- fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. However, the desserts were less impressive; the fennel-based one in particular felt a bit too experimental for my taste. The atmosphere was a little stiff, reminiscent of sitting in a wedding banquet hall- formal, but lacking warmth. That said, the service was attentive and professional.

My friend had her wedding catered by Mielcke & Hurtigkarl and it was so good I've been planning on visiting again. The food was outstanding! It's in the Frederiksberg Garden so quaint. Seating is interesting because it's open and you sort of all look at each other as they seat you facing inwards. Other than that I can't wait to go back, everything was fantastic, the non alcoholic pairing was also great.

So we were once again guests at M&H and once again they delivered in a class of their own. After a spring of visits to a number of Michelin star restaurants, we can only conclude once again that M&H beats them all - of course first and foremost on the excellent food perfectly dosed, vegetable based and tasty tasty tasty - but also the fantastic premises and the relaxed but thoroughly professional service - how a team of such young waiters can execute with such natural competence and enthusiasm is astonishing. We are already looking forward to coming again :-)

Dette sted leverer en oplevelse i verdensklasse og er blandt de absolut bedste i landet. Har spist mange gode steder, og dette er stedet jeg bliver ved med at vende tilbage til. Der er bare aldrig nogle svipsere eller noget hvor man tænker, det ikke helt lever op til resten. Alle retter uden undtagelse leverer på et skyhøjt niveau og alt går op i en højere sublim enhed. Kan ikke anbefale dette sted nok.
