02/09/2025: I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review oft he restaurant Riva Bistro & Bar at the marina of Rungsted, Denmark. This restaurant is located right by a beautiful marina, and I highly recommend not only eating here but also taking the time to stroll along the docks, enjoy the views, and admire the boats. There’s also a beach on the opposite side of the marina, which makes the setting even more special. The service stood out – we asked if one person from our group could sit on the terrace for just a coffee while the rest of us went for a short walk before coming back for dinner. The waiter immediately agreed and kindly set everything up. Later, I had a lemon tartlet, which was nicely done – nothing overly sophisticated, but tasty and enjoyable. With its welcoming service, pleasant cuisine, and truly stunning setting, this is one of the restaurants around the marina that I can warmly recommend.

18/08/2025: The lunch set for 249 kr. per person was a real treat. You get six different dishes, all in suitable sizes, and with a nice balance between taste and presentation. It all looked delicious and well thought out - perfect for a relaxed lunch with a little extra pampering. The service was both quick and polite, which made the experience even better. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was pleasant from start to finish. The cozy outdoor area with a view of the harbor environment was the icing on the cake. It's hard not to fall a little in love with the surroundings, especially on a sunny day. All in all, a highly recommended experience that I would like to repeat.
