We visited the forest mill with our 1 year old son, and it was all in all a great experience. We were greeted by friendly staff and great hospitality in a beautiful setting in the middle of nature. The food was super delicious, although a bit on the high side in terms of price, and not the largest portions.

Hi my family and I had lunch today at Skovmøllen. Delicious and well-prepared food, Sweet and friendly staff. Everything served with a smile. Reasonable price, It is only recommended. Regards Ole

Great location for an open-air autumn lunch - staff helpful and (as a foreign tourist) I much enjoyed their recommendations for 'typical' Danish dishes.

Very charming and cute restaurant that serves high quality dishes - we had the lunch course which was a lovely experience as a group of four. Get lucky with a sunny day and sit outside for some cold beer!

29/12/2025: Party of 4, got 2 faust burgers, a veggie burger and the manor steak. The veggie burger's "steak" didn't really taste like anything and the manor steak was very dry and completely cooked through. We didn't ask for any particular degree of doneness - that's just how it came. The portions were fairly small, so this might not be the place to come if you're very hungry. All in all, an ok visit, but we had to stop by a nearby bakery and fill up on some sausage horns.
27/12/2025: First time I've had an Irish Coffee with ice cubes. 😂😂😜 Lovely evening, delicious delicious food, super fantastic service. What more could you want. We'll definitely be back. For a hot Irish Coffee 😎❤️ Ps. Perfect ribeye steak 🤤👍🏼
