I haven't been inside, but it's in a great location. Anyone cycling to or from Aarhus has to pass by here. So does anyone walking in the area. There's also parking nearby.

Fantastic staff, delicious food and service, beautifully presented and in the finest setting in the forest, and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back and have a party 🙌🏻

Really good food and nice atmosphere. However, we don't think the service lived up to this. No smile or welcome. The food came before the drinks and one young woman in particular seemed very annoyed that we were there. We were celebrating something important and were with family.

We visited the forest mill with our 1 year old son, and it was all in all a great experience. We were greeted by friendly staff and great hospitality in a beautiful setting in the middle of nature. The food was super delicious, although a bit on the high side in terms of price, and not the largest portions.

Hi my family and I had lunch today at Skovmøllen. Delicious and well-prepared food, Sweet and friendly staff. Everything served with a smile. Reasonable price, It is only recommended. Regards Ole

Great location for an open-air autumn lunch - staff helpful and (as a foreign tourist) I much enjoyed their recommendations for 'typical' Danish dishes.

Very charming and cute restaurant that serves high quality dishes - we had the lunch course which was a lovely experience as a group of four. Get lucky with a sunny day and sit outside for some cold beer!

Montra Hotel Sabro Kro, menu

16/03/2026: We had two nights with dinner both days and the Abbagirls show on Friday. Super cozy and all in all a nice stay. The hotel is well located in relation to Aarhus.
08/03/2026: We had a 2-day stay with breakfast. Every day we ate at the hotel. It was always an exquisite, tasty experience. Delicious ingredients where the chef had taken care of the details. Breakfast among the best we have ever experienced. Room 108. Lovely light, good space and decor. Nice large bathroom. Everywhere in the hotel it was clean and maintained.
