Amazing Chinese restaurant in CPH

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of Mudan restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark. A bit outside the center of Copenhagen, this Chinese restaurant is absolutely worth the trip – especially for the Peking duck. It must be ordered in advance, but it was perfectly prepared, authentic, and simply delicious. We also tried a few other dishes, which were good, but the duck was clearly the highlight. The interior has a nice décor, with tables well spaced apart, and parking is easy to find nearby. Service was generally friendly, though at times we had to call the waiter a couple of times to place orders. Overall, a very good Chinese restaurant that I can recommend, particularly for the duck.

This place is less prone to the typical Chinese restaurant problem of the taste changing every time you go. Be sure to try the Guo Bao Rou... Chinese people usually eat fish dishes (like soup). Mapo tofu is so-so... The stir-fried vegetables are delicious. There are many dishes to order as snacks, and it's even more delicious if you go when it's not busy.

Come to Copenhagen twice!👍 Reserve the Peking Duck in advance. It's as good as a Chinese restaurant in a four-star Korean hotel. It's sophisticated and clean. The fried rice is also delicious! The guo ba rou, perfect for those craving sweet and sour pork, is also delicious! The spicy chicken you recommended? The fried chicken was also delicious👍👍😋 This is the kind of place where even a child who hates shrimp will ask for fried rice again!

I’ve been to Mudan several times, and it’s consistently good. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere is calm and clean. I especially recommend the crispy fried pork (#44) and the Peking duck — always tasty. The staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the quality.

Amazing food and huge portions! Stopped in for lunch and my partner and I figured we could have dumplings and split a dish! Good thing we decided to split a dish because the serving size of the food was huge we had to get carry out boxes! Absolutely will be back soon to try everything else on the menu!

Incredible dumplings and huge portions! Got an entree and 12 dumplings and could barely eat half of it between two people. Food was spiced perfectly and we can’t wait to come back.

My husband picked this restaurant while visiting Copenhagen, I loved the that you can call the waitress with a button ,felt it was perfect for introverts, and the food was really really good,never had this dish before and the flavor was amazing, their service was also very nice

Authentic Chinese food! The dishes were a bit salty to me, but they all taste great! Great value for money. Highly recommended.
