Best breakfast place I have been to in a long while! Very friendly people. Incredible vibe. You may have to / may have the pleasure to sit next to some strangers. We loved it.

Very generous and very good atmosphere

As a local, this is my go to place in the inner city. The Downstairs basement is a hidden gem with a New York vibe 🫶 The food is delicious, clearly made by people who care about product and craft. The staff are always super sweet, helpful and delightful. The homemade gingerale is my must have item followed by their delicious brownie 😍🫶🙌

My friend and I went for a quick lunch and coffee. We entered this little cozy place, hidden away on a side street from Stroget,. As soon as we got there, we were greeted by the host with a smile. We placed our orders. My friend got a tuna salad sandwich and I got a black bean hummus sandwich. Since I don’t like raw tomatoes, the host was so nice to ask me if I wanted some mozzarella cheese instead. No extra cost. My friend got a bit curious about the black bean hummus, so the host offered us a little taste. We could choose between a regular and a dark, full grain bun. Homemade, of course. Also we both had regular coffee, one with milk. An interesting indoor decoration and a great ambience. Definitely not the last we will visit the Next Door Café.

What a cozy cafe! I went alone but never felt lonely because the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing too. A truly good place with good people. I’d love to visit again for sure. Highly recommend this place.
