No.1 cafe og bistro Morsø

A really good evening. We were a larger group so we sat in the house next door, where there is a really cozy room, this one is aptly called Nabo. I had hake which was cooked perfectly. Impressive wine list, we got a bottle of riesling from Krebs.

Of the dishes, mushroom toast with local chanterelles and a vegetarian vol-au-vent are particularly noteworthy, in which all the (naturally locally grown) juicy peas, carrots and lots of mushrooms were perfectly cooked and still had plenty of crunch/springiness in a perfectly flaky puff pastry nest. No one will be bored by the place's classic and absolutely perfect onglets (kidney legs) in red wine sauce, which of course arrived at the table in a picturesque cast-iron pan together with potatoes, two types of onions and confit garlic. If you order the place's cheese plate (do it - it's completely simple, but in a class of its own), you simply cannot miss a glass of the place's hors d'age dessert wine! Add to the good food a really good host, who entertains its guests with knowledge, warmth and tact in cozy surroundings instead of just "serving customers". It is an exquisite pleasure to go to Bistro in Nykøbing Mors!

Fantastically delicious food, with ingredients from the local area. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, it was clear that there is an emphasis on a personal touch in service, thank you for a super nice host. All in all a really nice dining experience. We will be back 😊

Small authentic French bistro with fantastic homemade food made from good ingredients served with delicious wines by a very knowledgeable restaurant owner. All dishes were well thought out and even better executed, well seasoned, basically classic in the best way, not so much new fresh herbs and other bullshit, just classic well-cooked French We will definitely come again

Great service, and super tasty dishes. The tartlet dish was a bit monotonous but otherwise nothing to complain about. Very cozy place too

Cozy surroundings and good service!

We had a super delicious lunch, where the quality is really top notch. It is definitely recommended if you are into the good taste experience rather than quantity. However, we left very full. The service was super good and we will definitely come back, because the evening menu is definitely a must try.

Friendly service, high quality food and reasonable prices. Had guests from Switzerland here who praised the food to the skies and they are quite used to it and picky! Bistro No 1 is highly recommended!

Vi er på miniferie i Nykøbing Mors og blev anbefalet dette sted. Vi spiste her torsdag aften og blev mødt med en meget venlig vært. Jeg fik vafler med Serano skinke og trøffelmayo efterfulgt af en svampetoast a la creme med kantareller og portobello. Min mand fik stegt kulmule med kartoffelkompot, grøn olie og muslingesauce, efterfulgt af en rørt tatar. Virkelig så super lækkert at vi måtte komme tilbage lørdag aften. Denne gang fik jeg den menu min mand fik torsdag aften. Min mand fik svampetoasten efterfulgt af Vol-au-vent med sprængt og braiseret kalv, sommergrønt, velute sauce, toppet med frisk revet peberrod. Det er mad i superklasse og kan kun anbefales. Jeg måtte lige have fat i menukortet for at beskrive retterne korrekt. Desuden har restauranten et flot vinkort med nogle super lækre vine man sjældent finder. Kommer du/I til Nykøbing Mors er det et must at besøge Bistro no. 1. Vi kommer meget gerne igen.

Af hjertet tak for en fuldstændig fantastisk oplevelse i går. Vi har aldrig før haft så vidunderlig en oplevelse med et restaurantbesøg, som vi havde hos jer i går! Maden var fuldstændig formidabel, og vi følte os varmt modtaget og behandlet. Alt gik op i en højere enhed, og vi talte om oplevelsen hele vejen hjem til Lemvig... Vi har aldrig før haft den følelse af at være velkommen i en restaurant, som vi havde hos jer. Tak for vidunderlig dialog om mad og øl, og for jeres måde at behandle os på. Vi glæder os allerede til at komme tilbage!
