Cozy atmosphere and good and knowledgeable service

Very delicious food and HUGE portions. I had fish and Beauf Onglet and both were very flavorful and delicious.

Our party of two visited the bistro on a Saturday evening, when almost all the tables were occupied. We went á la carte in the inviting, very manageable selection of dishes. Could have missed a dish with a bird as an alternative. The starters (beetroot tartare and a saffron pasta risotto style with mussels) came quickly and were extremely visually inviting and tasty. The house's selection of open wines by the glass is a nice match - we went with a young Pinot Blanc from the house Mann in Alsace. We had to wait a bit for the main courses (cod with root vegetables, carrot jus with "a lot of butter" and kidney tap with potato, onion and garlic in a strong red wine sauce) - about an hour from the starters. It's a long time, but the good atmosphere and an attentive, cool host made the wait a good experience. The lady continued with the accompanying wine from Alsace. I went with a glass of cool Rhône from a newly opened bottle, which perhaps deserved a little air first. The bill was approx. DKK 700/person. We think that's OK. Will we come again? Without a doubt.
