Two visits – same high level: Maya delivers Returning to a restaurant is the real test. The first visit can be a fluke – the second visit determines whether the impression lasts. For me, it was with some curiosity that I re-entered Maya with three family members, located in Copenhagen’s lively Meatpacking District. And the conclusion is clear: Maya is not a one-off. Right at the entrance, you are greeted by the same welcoming atmosphere as on the first visit – smells of grilled meat, citrus and smoked chilies mingling in the air. The communal table arrangement, which can feel intrusive elsewhere, works here thanks to disarming service and a noise level that feels lively rather than noisy. The menu revolves around Latin American flavors with modern touches, and here the sharing concept applies. The ceviche remains a highlight – tangy, fresh and well-balanced – and the meat dishes are consistently high class. The portions are generous without being heavy, and the price level is reasonable considering the quality and location. What impresses above all is the continuity. On two separate occasions, a few weeks apart, I experienced the same level of food, service and atmosphere. It is a sign of a well-run business that knows what it wants to be. Maya/Noho is an address I highly recommend – whether it is the first or third time. It is not groundbreaking, but it is honest, tasty and well-crafted. And in a city with constantly new openings, that is perhaps exactly what makes you come back.

Really good experience! We were on a date. The food was superb, the cocktail menu sublime and the service was spot on. We got the 7-course menu and the cocktail menu with 3 cocktails for 255kr. Absolutely brilliant! We will 100% come again with friends next time.

There is a cover charge of ~$10 usd. Fun bar but we went in the middle of a local music festival so the place was empty. Cocktails are EXTREMELY sweet so need to ask for half or no sugar. Staff are all very friendly.

friendly service, baby friendly with a high chair available and meals that are not to spicy. my 15 month old loved the Quesadilla and sweet potato tacos. food arrived quickly after ordering.

This place knows exastly what they are doing, lovely dishes loads of flavour, a nice setting, reasonably pricicing, great interior. First time there but if they can keep it up the next time, we will be back in the future as this has true potential! We had 3 tacos to share, 2 main courses of lamb and steak, 2 cocktails around 1000 dkk.

Great place. Delicious and plentiful Latin American inspired food and drinks at reasonable prices. Extremely good service.

Asked for a sour cocktail without bitters. He also made it without bitters but insisted that there should be a dash of bitters on top at the end, "because it's part of the cocktail". When you ask for a cocktail without bitters, you should get it without bitters. A bit of a shame that he sends out before the guest's request and insists on it after all. Apart from that, it's cozy and the guards are really nice. Cozy place overall, it's only the slightly sour bartender that drags it down.

Ate at restaurant Maya which is part of Noho. The food was delicious and nicely presented but very very small portions. Therefore a bit too expensive. Very limited wine list.
