Nordisk Falafel Frederiksberg

I love these guys! They're my go to option for takeaway. Delicious falafel and tasty ingredients in their bowls and pitas. I'm addicted to their chilli sauce!!

First time trying the place, the falafel I can understand has won an award because it tastes so good! I got plenty of chilli sauce, tahini dressing and hummus in it (100% vegan). In addition, their falafel appears to be gluten-free! They fill up the bread well so I had to eat it with a fork first, but that's fair enough considering the slightly high price (70-75 DKK) I saved the leftovers for later and it still tasted really good. Lots of shawarma places have dry bread and falafel, but this tasted great, probably the best falafel I've tried. Friendly man behind the counter who gave me extra chili sauce without extra payment. You get both kale and red cabbage in the bread too, perhaps hence the name Nordic Falafel? At least it was filling and it's super cozy that you can sit and look out at the street while you eat. The food was prepared with gloves on, but I also saw that the man was operating his smartphone while he was cooking and wearing gloves, so I don't know how hygienic it is. Despite that, they get 5/5 stars.

The food tastes good, but the hygiene is lacking. Same glove for food prep, payment and... well, everything else. Then it might not matter.
