Absolutely delicious - the cake is moist and better than in Germany.

Here, one can indulge in sweet treats without hesitation. The brownies with nuts are particularly recommended (they keep for several days and are perhaps a bit too gooey when fresh), as are the cinnamon rolls and the Viennese strudel.

A fantastic bakery! Very friendly and helpful saleswomen. The rolls and cakes are incredibly delicious. Every year in June, it's our go-to place to get delicious rolls and cakes.

I know many bakeries in Denmark, but this one has the best and most comprehensive selection by far! The rum balls are divine!

Café Agnes

03/10/2026: Unfortunately no dogs allowed inside but they were really nice and prepared us everything to go (we wanted to sit in the sun and it was too early for sun on the outdoor terrace). The avocado bread was great and coffee tasted good :) we had an apple cake also.
02/10/2026: The most wonderful café, owner and staff in the whole city! Always get the best coffee in the world and feel SO welcome ❤️❤️ Thank you for café Agnes in beautiful Aabenraa.
