Nygård's Afrika 🦁 is a place for the mature, dance-happy, festive audience. NOK 310 for entree, "eat all you can of wild boar and wild boar with side dishes" and 5 hours of good LIVE bands, NOT found anywhere else in Denmark under SUCH pleasant conditions 👍 This is NOT a communal house in the country or soup, roast and ice cream events. The prices of drinks are similar to other places with dancing and music, because considering the expenses associated with renting bands, staff, maintenance, catering etc., then it MUST be taken home, in order to maintain the very low price per . participant. For those who feel that the price of drinks is a little too high, they can go out to the beautiful and fragrant toilets and drink water 👍 Always friendly staff. A place that can be HIGHLY recommended ❤️

I was for the first time to eat, dance and spend the night at Nygaards Afrika..the food was fantastic, the petmicks who played were super good as always❤️the staff were happy and smiling❤️❤️really good atmosphere and a nice cabin where you can spend the night for little money and even sleep for as long as you want the next day and leave when it suits you.

22/10/2024: Anyone who likes an unmistakable, constant music mix of Ballermann hits, Oktoberfest hits and pop songs while eating is in good hands here. The food is neither typically German nor typically Bavarian. Tastes ok but not particularly good. The ambience in the restaurant is just like a huge Bavarian festival tent. When you come to Denmark it doesn't necessarily have to be... everyone as he/she likes it.
10/10/2024: Today we went to the suckling pig buffet in the beer garden with 4 adults and 1 child. We were also allowed to take our dog with us, which is a rarity in Danish restaurants. The selection at the buffet was very good and sufficient even for me as a vegetarian, starting with a small fresh salad buffet, vegetables, gratins and of course chips and croquettes, there was also fresh bread. The meat selection with suckling pig, ribs and pulled pork was also very good. The service was excellent, the employees very attentive and friendly. The price-performance ratio is very good. A good €25 for the buffet and an Aperol Sprizz for €10. I can't understand the negative reviews. I would come back at any time.

15/08/2024: Fantastic food. We were served tartlets and roast pork, yum, it tasted fantastic. For dessert we had ice cream cake, it was not so good. But can definitely be recommended if you are going to have a party.
