Cozy Charm and Sweet Delights at Nytorv 11, Viborg 🍰☕ We dropped by Nytorv 11 in Viborg for a little afternoon indulgence, and it turned into a memorable treat. The apple cheesecake was a perfect balance of creamy and fruity, while the brownie—served warm with a scoop of ice cream—was pure comfort on a plate. And of course, we couldn’t resist rounding it all off with a classic Irish coffee. Rich, smooth, and just the right kick. What really sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere. They’ve recently renovated and opened up the old basement as a dining area. It’s been done with such care and respect for the building’s history—vaulted ceilings, rustic textures, and a timeless coziness that makes you want to linger. It’s like stepping into a little piece of Viborg’s past, with all the warmth of modern hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone craving a sweet pause in beautiful surroundings

Nice place, good acoustics and suitable music. Good portobello burger and delicious (but few) fries. Sweet and friendly service. Would come again.

We had the best lunch we’ve had in Denmark at Nytorv 11 in Viborg. I had the NYTORV’S HAKKEBØF and my wife had the PORTOBELLO BURGER (V) with extra avocado. Both were excellent, and I really recommend adding the fried egg to the hakkebøf, it makes a great dish even better. The food quality was top-notch, everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. For dessert, I had the apple cheesecake and my wife the crème brûlée, both absolutely delicious. The staff was really friendly and helpful and up for a laugh. A lovely place for lunch with great flavors and a nice atmosphere. Loved it!

Delicious club sandwich, friendly service in a somewhat chic/original setting. Highly recommended, and then on to the nearby Dom Church.
