Ocean Sushi Aalborg

We decided to go here for a set meal of sushi, but where offered a "all you can eat" at roughly the same price. We went for that, and Im so glad we did. They had such fantastic food, we just couldnt stop eating. I acctually felt a bit bad in the end for eating so much. The "all you can eat" deal is accessed through a table tablet so you can just keep on ordering pretty much anything on the menu, but with such high quality dishes its really hard to stop. Best sushi I had in years! Loved this place. You should try it out 👌

Very good appetizers and sushi. A lot of food for the money.

Lovely sushi place that has all the things a sushi restaurant should have. I would especially like to highlight their chili mayo, which is creamy and not too spicy. Tastes great with their delicious sashimi. Good experience.

2nd time we visit Ocean, it was just as good as the first time, and definitely not the last time we go there. It was just good

The food here is truly fantastic! It tastes heavenly and is beautifully presented. We were also very happy that they offer many gluten-free dishes. We will definitely be back 🤩

For the most part, the food was pretty bland or just below standard. Overall, it's not a place I'd want to return to. We had chosen "all you can eat" and ordered via a tablet at the table. However, it took a very long time for the food to start coming, and there was also a long wait between courses. From the two nearest tables we could hear other guests asking about their food and wondering about the wait. For example, we ordered a soup at the beginning (which is listed as a starter on the menu), but it only came towards the end. In fact, it came as the penultimate course, several hours later. We managed to order 2-3 courses before it even appeared. Several of the other dishes also had too long a wait and arrived in a slightly strange way; for example, only sushi at a time or only deep-fried dishes, even though we had ordered everything at the same time and expected a better variety on the table at the same time. All deep-fried food was tasteless and often cooked for too long, so it became hard on the outside. The sushi was okay, but not much more than that. Everything we ordered on sticks was pretty bland in terms of taste, while the seaweed salad was actually really good. We were placed in a place where the sun was very bright. We were offered to move tables immediately, but chose to stay seated when the sun disappeared behind a building after about 20 minutes. It did make me wonder, however, that there is no form of sun protection or curtains. It can hardly be the first time that it is a problem that guests are dazzled. However, a minor detail. The staff was nice, but because of the food experience, we probably will not return.
