My husband bought 3 Birkes today, super delicious Birkes 👍 and 2 low snails with white glaze. The snails cost DKK 19.50 per piece. For that price I expected a delicious and flavorful pastry. But unfortunately the snail was dry and tasteless, no taste of remonce, but on the other hand there was a massive layer of glaze in the middle of the cake which made the middle of the cake so oversweet that even Karius and Baktus cried out for help. At such a high price, I think I could have fulfilled my expectations here for some especially delicious pastry. Practice

Delicious special cakes but their bread prices were super high, their small rolls cost from 8 to 11 kr. each, costing more than Aarhus and Copenhagen.

11/10/2025: Good atmosphere, good food and drinks and good service
12/08/2025: It's a shame the café doesn't have its own restrooms. The ones at Føtex leave much to be desired. The staff are usually smiling and friendly. The coffee is good, and the place is nice, though it's crowded outside because of the main promenade, and a bit noisy inside because it's connected to Føtex.

Hotel Hedegaarden

18/04/2026: The hotel has been beautifully renovated and the interior appears modern. The rooms are modern, simple and good. The beds were top notch. In the bathroom, the shower was separated by a glass door - excellent. There is a "motel" feel to the place, as you can only access the rooms from the outside. Many similar hotels have a basement corridor, so you can go directly from the hotel/reception to the room blocks. That would have been a clear advantage. The food - tapas menu - actually didn't have much to do with tapas. The individual small dishes tasted okay, but the whole thing remained "messy". We had been looking forward to the breakfast buffet. It was a disappointment as it was completely crowded when we arrived. We could only sit at another table with other guests. The plates were almost empty - but were later refilled.
30/03/2026: We use the hotel when we visit friends. But it suits that purpose perfectly.
