Highly recommended! We had wraps and burgers – all delicious!

This establishment was, in fact, our very first introduction to Danish "food and wine culture" 🇩🇰 and, above all, to the local cost of living (a real shock 😱 from the very first moment). Having reached Torvehallerne (the city's covered market) by metro 🚇 at around 12:40 directly from the airport ✈, we took a stroll 🚶🏻‍♂️ among the various stalls to get an idea of what we could eat. After about twenty minutes, we located Palæo, immediately ordering a couple of sandwiches 🍔 (one with a hamburger and the other with pulled duck meat) accompanied by a portion of chips 🍟 (or what we thought were chips); to drink, a small bottle of still water 💧 and a sparkling one. Aside from the bill (a total of 446 kronor, equivalent to almost 60 euros 💶), the sandwiches 🍔 were certainly tasty 😋 and well-spiced (the bacon was lovely and crispy 🥓); the side dish was also delicious, although we couldn't tell what it was (I think it was some sort of roasted sweet potato 🥔). Otherwise, seating was limited (you had to jostle to get one) and there were no bathrooms 🚾. A notice at the cash register informs us that they don't even accept cash payments; this would require a reflection on the superficiality and unawareness with which, in ever-increasing leaps, we are moving towards the complete digitalization of money, but this is obviously not the right place for that. Aside from that, the location is strategic, as the restaurant, located inside the covered market, is right in front of the 🚇 metro stop (Nørreport station, served by the yellow 🟡 and green 🟢 lines). The food doesn't quite suit my palate.

Entire menu is gluten free, delicious food. Located in a mall. Has a rooftop dining area with beautiful views.

Salad and a burger, lovely food, the challenge for them is plastic cutlery and a cardboard box to eat from, it would have given a better review if it was on a completely normal service.

The chicken wrap (open/bowl style) was fabulous! I didn’t have high expectations based on the ingredients, but I was pleasantly surprised. The pea purée caught me off guard—it was wonderful. There was another sauce (and I don’t know what it was) that was a wonderful flavor bomb. I was a tourist in town for a few days. Should I visit again, I would totally get the chicken wrap again.

I came here on a recommendation and wasn’t disappointed. From the moment I walked in, the energy was upbeat and welcoming. The menu is packed with nutrient-dense, delicious meals that don’t leave you feeling guilty. I had the “Bolo” and my friend got the salmon salad —both were incredible. We also shared a breakfastbowl for a cold dessert and were blown away.

First time trying Palæo and I’m seriously impressed. I’ve been looking for a place that offers healthy options without being boring or bland, and this hit the mark perfectly. I had the Chicken salad, and every bite was amazing. My coffee I had was great! The location was clean, the staff helpful, and the vibe was relaxed. I’ll definitely be making this a regular stop.
