16/03/2025: Started with the Classic Bruschetta, which, unfortunately, fell short of expectations. The bread was warmed in a toaster rather than oven-baked, resulting in a soft and somewhat dry texture instead of the light, crispy bite that defines traditional Italian bruschetta. While the flavours were acceptable, it lacked the authentic touch that would elevate it to the next level. For the main course, the Fettuccine Milanese Style was an excellent choice. The dish featured tender strips of beef fillet, bacon, bell pepper, tomatoes, and mushrooms cooked in a rich demi-glace and cream sauce. It was a cost-effective option, and the flavours were well-balanced and satisfying — a definite highlight of the meal. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Milano’s convenient location in Field’s Food Lounge on Level 2, with easy access from the main entrance and nearby parking at the B-tower, further adds to the convenience. While the starter left room for improvement, the main course and overall atmosphere made Milano a worthwhile visit. Recommended for a casual yet refined Italian dining experience.
