Pause Roskilde

This place(Pause) has become our favorite spot and somewhere my husband and I love spending time together. Whether we’re enjoying a delicious meal, sharing a glass of wine, having a beer, or warming up with their amazing Irish coffee, every visit is always a pleasure.

Fantastic place in the middel of Roskilde. Food is great and affordable. Staff is friendly and welcoming. There is also a good choice of various international and local beers from nearby breweries. Highly recommended.

Absolute favorite place for a single glass (a bottle), for a lunch on the weekend and all those days when Pause becomes quite literal and dinner is instead served here by warm-hearted Heidi or some of her amazingly sweet girls - always worth a visit.

A fantastic cozy place in the middle of the city, with lots of good food and wines and always sweet and friendly staff. A place you MUST visit!

I was asked by a young waitress to leave that table — so that a new couple could take over. I had been sitting at the table for 40 minutes and had almost finished my first drink. Given that there was no sign of a reservation — and with only two other guests and at least 32 empty seats in the room, I find this unacceptable. Their quiz event, which doesn't start until half an hour later, apparently takes priority over regular customers. This is the fourth time I haven't been able to get a seat on a Wednesday — but the first time I've been outright thrown out. It's disappointing and I'm choosing to take my business elsewhere.

You get really good food, for a cheap price. But keep in mind that the food is not gourmet, and it shouldn't be. There is a huge selection of drinks, so your horizons can be expanded a bit. Cozy surroundings that provide warmth and contribute to the atmosphere. And not least, a fantastic and attentive service that just makes you want to stay.
