A truly special breakfast/brunch spot. We cycled there from the city. The Sunday brunch buffet was very generous and delicious.

The brunch buffet is good and fresh. The bread is excellent. The coffee could be improved, but they do offer two types of milk. It would be nice to have the brunch menu changed regularly. The service is friendly, but there's no table service. Don't forget to make a reservation on weekends. It's not easy to find in this area, which is quiet during the day. And a major drawback: credit cards rarely work. Bring cash. However, it's always a pleasure to come because the lunch is delicious.

Situated within the coppice compound on Banegaarden, Perron offers sanctuary, to those seeking a alternative vista and pace, away from bicycle fever. A perimeter of foliage shields any would be passer by. This place has to be seeked out. A destination, not a stop off, on route to another port of call. The few that advocate, unburden themselves of unbearable queues of hyped fodder. Here the offerings are limited to those with limited means. Simple pleasures are easily attainable. What lacks in a small amount of indulgences, space and un-rushed time is abundant. Perron is no rinky dink operator, a hullabaloo of activity, an onslaught on the senses. It would seem they have the hands full catering to outside interests. The menu is extended on weekends to suit a wider audience of ramblers who are willing to commit to peddle another kilometer or two. To dip their toes in uncharted waters. The rubicon is no mean quest.
