Pho Ly Vietnam Kolding

We found the place on Google because we were nearby. First impression was - empty and deserted... The menu was a bit difficult to interpret, but the food was really good - just like they make it at home in Vietnam, I imagine.

We had read the good reviews of this restaurant. We were a bit surprised by the hygiene: there were old food scraps on the cutlery and the toothpick holder was brown with old grease. In other words: not particularly delicious. The food tasted great - piping hot pho and perfectly good grilled chicken. But because of the hygiene I would probably never go there again..

I had a really lovely early dinner here. The portions are huge for the price and everything was fresh and tasty. Especially the Gyoza and the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The woman at the counter was incredibly kind and walked me through the menu. Really good vibes and feels like someone’s grandma is making me food when it comes to taste and hospitality. I can’t wait to return and try different menu items.
