I came with a friend to eat, for this I am satisfied. A good dish and a satisfying quantity. However, service that leaves something to be desired and a somewhat long waiting time. A generally correct experience but disturbing on a few points.

I ordered the grilled Mexican burger, which was delicious and had a good portion size. It came with fries and two types of sauces, both of which complemented the burger nicely. However, I also ordered a fresh lemonade, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. It tasted like it was made from bottled lemon juice mixed with some sugar and water, lacking the freshness I was hoping for. On a positive note, the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. We sat outside, and I appreciated that they continued to take orders late into the night. I was there around 11 PM on a weekday, and the kitchen was still open, which is a great feature for late-night diners.

Phonix Cafe & Restaurant is located close to Norreport Train Station exit towards Rosenborg Castle street. We ordered typical English food, cod fish and chips. It was fresh, very generous portions and at affordable price. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.
