Piccola Italia København

Yesterday I was in Florence and I almost wish I was still there. Now I had come home in the fall, the wind was blowing strongly, and although the sun was shining, it was cold. I took a walk up Amagerbrogade and I longed for the Italian food. I started to feel a little hungry and realized that I wasn't done enjoying the pizza yet. I know that most pizzerias in Denmark do not reach the high level found in Italy. Still, I passed by a place that somehow appealed to me – it reminded me of authentic Italy. I went inside and ordered a pizza and to my surprise it was at least as good as the pizzas I had tasted in Tuscany, around Florence, the week before. I have a lot of respect for people who strive to do their craft the best way possible and this little restaurant certainly did that.

When they are at their best they are top! Great pizzas on those days, but inconsistent, like the boss man’s mood. Weird selection of non-traditional very Danish toppings.

Real Italian Pizzaria. More authentic, it can only be found in Italy.

Always the best pizzas from a stone oven. The pizza dough is so crispy and tasty. Highly recommended 😃🍕🇮🇹
