03/07/2026: Small cozy eatery, always smiling and welcoming staff, 100% worth a visit
19/06/2026: Today, Kødstadens burger joint in Trøjborg is going to test one of their burger menus.
We arrived at exactly 11:30 and despite the visible hustle and bustle with takeout, we were ordered right away by the nice man. I ordered a double bacon cheese menu.
The food was ready at exactly 11:42 and the first impression of the food was wow, the burger is piping hot, looks delicious and inviting. There are a lot of giant fries and they look crispy.
The bun is not a standard bun, it looks like a bakery bun that is somewhere between a standard burger bun and a brioche bun, but it tastes really delicious and both the top and bottom bun are smeared with mayo. From greens, we find a large fresh lettuce leaf, fresh tomato, 1 simple pickle that tastes great and red onion. The meat is a story in itself, there is a lot of meat here, gosh, I think there are 300-350 grams. It is PERFECTLY fried pink/medium, it tastes wonderful and almost melts in your mouth, it is really fresh and flavorful and piping hot. How to fry steaks hallloooo many only learn something here. There is bacon 🥓 and actually part of it, it is crispy and again flavorful. There are 2 slices of delicious cheddar 🧀 cheese which is delicious goes perfectly with the meat and bacon. There is also a form of barbecue in it which goes with everything else.
The fries are the giant version and there are many, they are crispy and spicy with a lovely taste, I chose a homemade ketchup barbecue dip. Kr 124.- for all this with an optional soda. There is not much to say, it tastes amazing, it is Denmark's best burger 🍔 and I have tried about. 140 -150 all over Denmark. The best of all is that Ivfor 1 year ago tried their department v Brun galleri and here we were also thrilled. None above and none below 5-5 stars.
