Piola Pastificio Frederiksberg

Incredibly lovely food and really good service, unfortunately a very small room

Went with my two daughters to this very cozy Italien restaurant in Frederiksberg. First impression - smiling waitress. The restaurant buzzed of atmosphere. We ordered a couple of antipasta's, pasta's and desserts from the a la carte menu. Everything served with love, homemade and high quality with depth of flavours. I can really recommend this place and looking forward for my next visit.

After a long day, my son and I went there for dinner. I hadn’t thought to make reservations and the place was packed, but we were seated at a small table outside, which the weather was perfect for. The crostino con alici marinate was the highlight of the antipasto course and all three pasta dishes were amazing, but the agnolotti del plin al fondo d’arrosto was probably our favorite. Oh and the bread was incredible! We live in New York, so we’re no strangers to great bread, but whoever bakes the bread at Piola Pastificio is a master baker! My son and I couldn’t get enough of it and fortunately our servers did a great job of keeping our table well stocked with it. Service was great. Both servers who took care of us were friendly and attentive. The restaurant’s sign is pretty small and Piola Pastificio is next to another restaurant (on the right) with a more conspicuous sign, so if you arrive after dark it might be easy to overlook.

Better small but (super) good than a huge portion that only tastes ok. Accommodating, personal and present service. Everything tastes so good that the brain is completely satisfied, full without being stuffed and constipated. We were absolutely satisfied and will definitely come again. Huge recommendation from here.

A bit expensive for a short everyday seating in a packed room, but the quality of the food is definitely at the upper end. Very polite service, even when we had to bottom our red wine glasses to leave our place for the next team.

Cozy little restaurant with super nice waiters who were easy to get hold of, we chose the ala carte which was green olives, fried Danish lobster, foccacia with oil, guinea fowl ravioli, chanterelle pappardelle and two pistachio tiramisu with blood orange and lemon soda 😍 everything was so delicious and you could taste that it was all homemade, can highly recommend a trip to Piola😁 🍝 It would be nice if the tables had a little more space between them so you can walk between the tables 😉

Really cozy family owned Italian restaurant, with great food and unmatched atmosphere. They have a set menu with good choices rounded choices, but we opted for the a la carte since we had a few things that weren’t on the set menu we wanted to try. Very happy with the food, service, and everything, and we will be visiting again! We were 2 people that had 3 drinks each, 4 starters (to share), and a primo and secondi course each (4 pasta courses total), and ended up paying 1800 kr., which is really good value compared to similar offerings and experiences in Copenhagen. With that said, it’s hard to put a price on a gem like this restaurant and its atmosphere. The only small comment I have is that the tiramisu could use a bit more mascarpone, but I wouldn’t even have noticed this slight imperfection if it wasn’t for everything else being so amazing (and don’t get me wrong - the tiramisu was still very tasty!). If you’re looking for a cozy Italian restaurant in Copenhagen that has some of the best pasta ibe had outside of Italy, Piols Pastificio is a must try 👌
