We had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately we left somewhat disappointed.
The quantity-price ratio left us much to be desired.
We ordered two starters and two pasta dishes, but the portions were really small, so much so that we left hungry.
An example was the vegetable starter: basically a plate full of leaves from different salads and just three pieces of cooked beetroot. We were expecting something more elaborate for the price.
The place is small and although it has potential, we felt that it lacked atmosphere, such as music or a more welcoming touch.
The service was correct, but a bit cold.
We believe that the restaurant has a lot of potential and with some adjustments, such as improving the quantities, the details in the dishes and the atmosphere, they could do much better.

Went with my two daughters to this very cozy Italien restaurant in Frederiksberg. First impression - smiling waitress. The restaurant buzzed of atmosphere. We ordered a couple of antipasta's, pasta's and desserts from the a la carte menu. Everything served with love, homemade and high quality with depth of flavours. I can really recommend this place and looking forward for my next visit.

After a long day, my son and I went there for dinner. I hadn’t thought to make reservations and the place was packed, but we were seated at a small table outside, which the weather was perfect for.
The crostino con alici marinate was the highlight of the antipasto course and all three pasta dishes were amazing, but the agnolotti del plin al fondo d’arrosto was probably our favorite.
Oh and the bread was incredible! We live in New York, so we’re no strangers to great bread, but whoever bakes the bread at Piola Pastificio is a master baker! My son and I couldn’t get enough of it and fortunately our servers did a great job of keeping our table well stocked with it.
Service was great. Both servers who took care of us were friendly and attentive.
The restaurant’s sign is pretty small and Piola Pastificio is next to another restaurant (on the right) with a more conspicuous sign, so if you arrive after dark it might be easy to overlook.

Better small but (super) good than a huge portion that only tastes ok.
Accommodating, personal and present service. Everything tastes so good that the brain is completely satisfied, full without being stuffed and constipated. We were absolutely satisfied and will definitely come again. Huge recommendation from here.

A bit expensive for a short everyday seating in a packed room, but the quality of the food is definitely at the upper end. Very polite service, even when we had to bottom our red wine glasses to leave our place for the next team.
