I got super tasty and well prepared food at Pippali. The service was good, friendly and very fast! The reason they get 4 instead of 5 stars is that the prices are a bit on the high end. I got rid of approx. DKK 300 for one dish, rice, naan (enough for 2 people in one serving!), chutney and a mango lassi. But all in all, I can highly recommend a visit here.

The food tasted good, but it wasn't quite clear how much we were supposed to have, but they compensated fine for that and we got what we needed.

The food is not bad, just ok. The Naan was the only food above ok. Portions not that big. We found it extremely expensive for the portion sizes and quality. The price of the dishes DOES NOT include any rice or naan, they have to be ordered extra. The service was very nice (the girl). Not worth it for us to come here again when in Herlev.

I have been to almost all the Indian restaurant and this one is probably the best one in Copenhagen. Rates are a bit high but the quality justifies it. Try Kadhai paneer with garlic naan :). Also, chicken tikka masala.

05/06/2025: Always great food and good and friendly service! BUT now I have to mention it - how do you know that the restaurant's display is so filthy? The figures in the glass cases have been knocked over (now for the 2nd year...!) and there is a thick layer of dust on the hanging things (of which there are many). It gives a sloppy and slightly disgusting impression - why don't you do something about it? Hope the kitchen is cleaner 😬
23/05/2025: Was two adults and a child for lunch. Didn't really choose anything excessive, but just meat with side dishes and something to drink and an offer with soft ice cream for DKK 20... Total bill DKK 735, so the lunch was apparently also paid for. The food was ok, the air conditioning was on full blast and we froze a little. Service was smiling and efficient.
