Pippali Indian Grill Herlev

I haven't been to many Indian restaurants, but the food was well prepared and tasted good. I can't put my finger on the service either - short waiting time for both ordering and serving. The atmosphere consisted of quiet Indian relaxing music that was just right.

Nice restaurant, good service and fantastic food. I got the Lamb Rogan Josh, spicy version (also available mild and medium), and it wasn't too spicy if you're used to Indian food. Edit: We've been there three nights in a row now, and tried something different, and are still very satisfied. Today I asked for the strength "Indian Spicy" and it was good. But not too spicy either.

This was my second visit to Herlev. Just like last year, we had dinner at 'Pippali' again. I find the ambiance very appealing – large, themed pictures on the walls, plenty of space both inside and outside. We had booked a table for 6:30 p.m., so it wasn't busy yet. Two friendly young ladies greeted us, took our orders, and served them. Everything went wonderfully. To the young woman who's just starting out and still learning: That was a great job! Please stay as friendly and attentive, and nothing can go wrong! The food was excellent again. I had a mild chicken biryani. (Sorry, no photos this time. I was hungry.) 🤭 Even though the portion was really large, I ate it all. After all, we were out and about in Copenhagen all day. For dessert, I brought one, no, THREE mango yogurt drinks. I always forget the name immediately. But if you try THAT one, you'll definitely want more – wonderfully refreshing. Since I have to go back home tomorrow, I packed two for the trip. When I'm back in Herlev, I'd love to stop by again.

We never had such a delicious Indian food in Denmark. Probably the best Indian restaurant.

Pippali is without a doubt the best Indian restaurant in town. We have both eaten in the restaurant and taken takeaway several times, and each time the experience has been top notch. The food is authentic, flavorful and always freshly prepared – you can really taste the attention to detail. The staff is welcoming, smiling and very professional. They have things under control, and you always feel welcome and well treated. Pippali has become our favorite place when we want delicious Indian food – we can highly recommend it to everyone!
