Food very good, vegetables fresh and crunchy. Sauces very watery, but taste great. It's crowded, loud and hectic. You have to like it. You automatically start talking to your neighbors. Service friendly. Overall recommended.

Folks, I know my Thai food and this place was way better than I expected. I had chicken panang curry and it was very tasty, good flavors.

Had a very good meal at Poonchai. We shared a red curry (choice of protein all the same price- we picked duck), a plate of fried noodles & a draft Tuborg beer. Jasmine rice was included with our curry. The dishes were very copious & our order was enough for 2. Although restaurant prices everywhere in Copenhagen are very high, we found Poonchai was actually relatively reasonable. Service was good & very friendly in this family run restaurant. The decor is lovely & one can eat outside or inside. Recommended. I’ll come back here when I return to Copenhagen.
