Praestekilde Hotel Restaurant Vordingborg

We had bought a deal with a three course menu which was delicious and well prepared. We wanted to pass the time with a round of mini golf... the course was nice but the bins around the course were not emptied and rubbish was floating next to it. The TV in the room froze every 15 minutes quite annoyingly. On Saturday when we wanted to have a bath there was no hot water and when we checked out we were presented with a bill that we had paid the night before and nothing to do with it, we apologize or hope you have a new stay. Not a place we will return to

If you expect a "Golf resort hotel", your expectations may be disappointed, if you expect a Golf "Hostel", your expectations may be met... The restaurant - the service is giving its best, the food is fine, the atmosphere varies from canteen lights to modern, cosy.

Lovely 2 day stay with breakfast and dinner which was extremely well prepared. Good welcome with bubbles, and very friendly staff. Nice room with a view of the garden and golf course/Stege Nor. The staff in the restaurant were very service minded and knowledgeable about food and drink, and good for a quick remark. Great that there was an option for both wine and beer in a non-alcoholic version. We really appreciated that there was indoor storage for bicycles. Would love to return.

We had booked a stay with 3 groups of friends from 20 to 21 August 2019. We were greeted by a lovely and service-minded receptionist. It was just so nice 😊 Great food. We got a welcome drink and 4 courses with a wine menu. Absolutely fantastic. Our waiter, who by the way was the croman himself, made our evening completely unforgettable. Great service. He talked about the food and the different wines. Even though it was really busy, there was always a fresh remark or a little story about the hotel and the area. Rooms and beds fine. Breakfast good with delicious bread and whatever else there should be. We had a super nice stay (all 8 of us agree on that👍). Many thanks to the host couple and staff. We have read several bad reviews. But it's just not OK to complain about everything. If you only want to focus on the negative, then maybe you should consider staying at home or book a 5-star hotel and pay the price😡 Many thanks from some very satisfied guests, we will certainly come again. The wet area really needed to be renovated... Restaurant was great in the evening.

Hotel Præstekilde is really a good and well-located hotel, with nice and bright restaurants, nice rooms with a view of a golf course. The food in the restaurant was also quite excellent, the dishes perhaps a little small, served in large plates or bowls, actually ok. But the organization in the restaurant was hopeless. 20 minutes standing waiting to be allocated a table. Then a 40 minute wait for the starter, again 60 minutes before the main course. Dessert came after 20 minutes. And finally 6 minutes of waiting for payment (queue at checkout due to guests' accommodation reservation for the next evening) The entire dinner took exactly 2 hours and 34 minutes. The restaurant manager was not friendly towards either guests or other waiters (was clearly not happy with his job).

De nye ejere har fundet melodien. Efter en del svære år ser det ud til, at vi igen får et godt spisested på Præstekilde. Der er én (1) menu, hvor man kan vælge 2 eller 3 retter. Maden var meget lækker og smukt præsenteret. Vi valgte en rødvin fra Torbreck, som på kortet var angivet som "bourgogneagtig". Trods sammensætningen af helt andre druer levede den op til påstanden og udviklede sig efter åbningen.

The service we received when we entered the door at Hotel Præstekilde was exceptional! They were so nice and helpful and very good with small children! The room we got was quite nice, and the restaurant also offered such fine service and food. Among the activities at the hotel, they offer board games, billiards and table football. If you are into golf, the opportunities for that are also perfect.

My boyfriend, son and I spent a short week here - fantastic welcoming staff and delicious cuisine. Definitely plan to come back.

Vi åt trerätters middag två kvällar. Första kvällen var servicen toppenbra, det var två yngre killar som serverade. Maten var fantastisk och vi fick ett väldigt trevligt bord. Vi bokade bord även till följande dag genom en av killarna. Vi kunde t o m välja samma bord. Döm vår förvåning när vi kom till restaurangen påföljande dag och ”vårt” bord var taget! Vi fann oss ändå och avnjöt ännu en fulländad trerätters meny. Denna gång var det två yngre tjejer som servade oss och den ena har lite att jobba på vad det gäller service mind. När vi skulle lämna restaurangen försökte vi få kontakt med en kvinna som verkade vara huvudansvarig. Hon stod i baren vid datorn och trots att vi försökte påkalla uppmärksamheten negligerade hon oss totalt. Vi hade tänkt boka bord även till påföljande dag men vi struntade i det med tanke på det ignoranta bemötandet.
