Prolog Coffee Bar Meatpacking District København

I went on a rainy weekday morning before 7:30, so it wasn't very crowded. Both the cafe latte and Juno the Bakery's cardamom roll were absolutely delicious, and I was so happy. The staff were also very kind, and I had a wonderful time. If I ever come back to Copenhagen, I will definitely stop by again!

My travels always include specialty cafés, places that offer well roasted well made manual brews. This place did not disppoint one bit. I tried the honey processed coffee they had on offer, and my barista, Carl, made me an absolutely brilliant cup. I would definitely recommend walking around the meat packing district and then getting yourself a nice pourover here.

The coffee and cardamom bun were as delicious as I expected (since they bring them from Juno the Bakery, I was able to enjoy them without having to go all the way there). There are seats inside and several tables outside as well. Even though they were busy while I was choosing the beans, the staff were all kind and explained everything, so I was very satisfied with the coffee I brewed at home. Loved everything about this place. Great coffee and cardamom bun (from Juno the Bakery), seating both inside and outside. Friendly staff who helped me select a bag of beans to take home.

This is such a gem! Despite being extremely busy, the staff were conscientious and kind and balanced this with care. Good coffee in Denmark is worth the price - and the BMO and cardamom buns were impeccable.

Few places have shaped my Copenhagen coffee routine quite like Prolog Coffee. Since my first visit in 2016, Prolog has become one of my favourite coffee spots in Copenhagen. Whenever I am in the city, I find myself returning. It has been wonderful to watch the café evolve over the years, from a small coffee bar to one of the cornerstones of Copenhagen's specialty coffee scene. Back then, there was little more than great coffee. Then came the pastries, followed by a bench by the window, and eventually the full café experience. During my most recent visit, the café was undergoing refurbishment, complete with a charming little pop-up coffee cart outside. Located on the southern edge of Copenhagen's vibrant Meatpacking District (Kødbyen), the café is just a short walk from the central station. Despite being close to the action, it feels like a calm world of its own, surrounded by the district's iconic white façades and subtle blue accents. ☕️ The coffee is consistently excellent. One of the reasons I keep coming back is the reliability: every visit delivers the same high standard of quality and craftsmanship. 🪑 The interior reflects Kødbyen's distinctive character perfectly. The classic white-and-blue colour palette blends seamlessly into the surrounding architecture, creating a space that feels both modern and deeply connected to its location. 💁‍♀️ What made this visit especially memorable was the Italian barista. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely passionate about coffee, he took the time to share his knowledge and enthusiasm, making the experience even more enjoyable. A café that has grown alongside Copenhagen's specialty coffee scene while staying true to what made it special in the first place. Which coffee would you take home with you?

The coffee are really really good but its really expensive

I came back twice, and if I could come again tomorrow, I would. But I have to return to Spain. Excellent product, excellent service, and the outdoor space is spacious. A perfect 10.

TLDR: Chill coffeehouse in Meatpacking, with outdoor seating and nice vibes. Not a big coffee drinker as we know, but tried the iced latte and it was solid. Service was a bit frosty, but can’t blame ‘em as I came in around 12. I feel like the real draw to Prolog is the fact that they have Juno cardamom buns. I wish they had warmed it up.

Lovely café in a really cool setting. There's also a location in Copenhagen. The coffee was delicious. Very friendly service :)
