Fantastic cozy cafe/restaurant with exceptional staff that contribute to the good atmosphere. Had tartar that was topped with moderately strong horseradish - exactly as it should be, but unfortunately rarely you get it. Will definitely come again.

They make an acceptable espresso!!!❤️

There is always room for improvement, and even though it is in the small items department at Promenaden, there is a little room for improvement. We had a pre-booked table for 4 for lunch. We had been looking forward to Calamari and mussels that we envied a neighboring table 2 months before this visit. But alas, the lunch menu had been renewed and now only left room for open sandwiches. It was our own fault that we had not informed ourselves. The menu presented a smaller but tempting selection. We ended up with butter-fried 2x plaice with shrimp and one with remoulade. 2x Mushroom toast, chicken salad and roast beef. It was delicious food, fresh, suitably decorated and good flavors. Cool Chardonnay white wine (waiter's recommendation) and cold beers. The waiter was on his feet, attentive, present and in the humorous corner. That part could be turned down a bit. There were comments on parts of our conversation so it was a bit too much. We sat indoors as the weather was unpredictable. Nice decor, but a bit boring as we were the only ones. Again, it was our own choice and should not be blamed on the restaurant. We look forward to trying the evening menu one day.

Nice place, good location, nice atmosphere. That said, it's also paid for. Very expensive, so maybe not a place you would come often. The food is nice (expensive), and the drinks are good (also expensive). Can I recommend it? Yes. Can I recommend better and cheaper places? Yes too. It's a fun experience, and on a hot summer day, it's "the place to be". However, you have to remember that big wallet when you come here (or a friend who pays for you)

New staffing is doing really well in 2025 after some bad experiences in 2024.

We had baked cod with potatoes. It was cooked perfectly and everything on the plate tasted good. Friendly service. Regards Niels Carlsen

A nice cafe, wonderful food but usually a bit busy. Highly recommend booking a tablet before hand, if arriving in the dinner rush
