Props is definitely one of my favorite spots in Copenhagen. It’s tucked away on a lively street full of bars and little shops. As soon as you step inside, it feels calm, warm, and homey. The candlelit tables, great music, and the friendly staff make it such a nice place to hang out. I always see a mix of people here, from students working on laptops to friends catching up over coffee or wine to older regulars. I love that they offer free fruit at the counter sometimes and student prices for coffee. Definitely one of those cafés that makes you feel like part of the neighborhood.

Really good service. Bought a coffee and a ginger bun, was offered water with or without ice cubes and lemon. It was served at the table outside. I asked if they had food they only have a snack but I was welcome to buy with another place to eat it there, that's service 😊

03/12/2024: We often do takeaway here (order direct, not via Wolt or something) - solid burger options, generous portions, dips are good too.
21/11/2024: Have eaten there before for a period about three years ago, so I had high expectations - at that time they had very delicious burgers with high-quality special cheeses. Unfortunately, they have changed their menu drastically and it does not live up to the previous standard in terms of taste. Now you can't demand that much from a burger, you might think - but when they demand DKK 145 for it, it must taste like something. It was unfortunately very anonymous in taste, the taste of the cheese just wasn't there and I was really disappointed, precisely because they used to have blue cheese and goat's cheese on the menu. Now it's just boring for DKK 145. The room is cozy dark - a bit worn, but in a trendy way, however there was intrusive muzak, so you couldn't relax. The staff are dead and attentive to the customers. They came uninvited with salt and pepper so I could embellish the taste - it didn't help. They wanted to do it much better.

29/05/2025: Service only marked down due to their refurbishment which wasn't quite finished, but we knew all along and there were no surprises. Our room was clean and dust free although the corridor smelt of paint. Coffee and tea didn't look to be available in reception but it all looks to be fabulous once finished in early June 2026 I'm guessing.
23/05/2025: In terms of location to discover Copenhagen ideal, but in terms of hotel I still see some points for improvement. Breakfast is expensive and one-sided. Hotel room we had was not very big, not what I saw in the pictures. They are renovating, but I did not notice much of that. Scary small and dark elevator. We were on the 5th floor, so the stairs were not an option. Besides breakfast you can't really eat or drink anything in the hotel. Tip: walk to the 7-eleven and get your breakfast there, better and cheaper.
