Second year we eat here for a birthday, and again this year a great experience. Cozy little place with delicious open sandwiches in Gilleleje Harbor. Had plaice fillet with mayonnaise and shrimp - super delicious crispy fish and good shrimp. Their potato dish was also good, but the plaice fillet was definitely the best.

We dropped in at lunchtime and received a very friendly and informative welcome. Food and drinks arrived quickly and lived up to expectations.😃

We all three ate the star of the sea. A sandwich with fried plaice, hot smoked salmon, shrimp and other goodies. It was absolutely wonderful! Yum, yum.

Very good food, nicely served by very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit in Gilleleje.

So easy to treat the customer well! The owner Edyl did a nice job while the woman was downright short/unfriendly = easy to fix! But fix it, thanks 🙏

Amazing food and very fresh ingredients! As a first-time visitor to Denmark, I was unsure what to try, but the service here was truly exceptional. The chef personally recommended the pickled herring to me, wanting to share a traditional Danish specialty. It was such a unique and delightful addition to my meal—a must-order! It was one of the best dining experiences I've had on this trip. The staff were professional, friendly, and provided great service. Thank you for making my visit so memorable!

Great restaurant, with really good seafood. Had rye bread with rødspette and shrimp. Very delicious! The portions were perfect for a lunch! We sat outside, it was a bit windy, but that was to be expected in Denmark. A must visit when you're in Giljeleie.

It's so good😄food.. It's so cozy... And the service is just so good👍 It's our regular cafe in Gilleleje
