There, in just one meal, I had the opportunity to taste many typical Danish dishes. The three-course menu is more than generous; looking at the photos makes it clearer.

A fantastic experience and amazing meal. We had the Christmas menu which was an insane amount of food, cooked to perfection and delivered with personality. The service was fantastic, chatty and friendly. The restaurant is very cozy and intimate. We loved our visit and will look for reasons to return soon!

Tasty, chaotic, traditional…everything you could wish for when trying your first proper Danish Christmas dinner. Santa Claus must work in the kitchen! Great food in copious amounts. Raucous crowd having a great time, but to be expected for this type of meal. Hostess at the entry was not the most friendly, but our server was kind and explained the dishes well. Accommodated request to change a dessert last minute due to an allergy. Overall fun experience, would recommend!

Food was great, service was really good. I think the girls name was Amelia, she looked after us. Minor thing that we thought the music was a touch loud, but didn't spoil the evening. Would happily go back. Go for the Salmon starter and Cod main :)

A very good traditional restaurant with a friendly welcome. One of the waiters is French and shares his experience. Excellent traditional dishes; a must-try if you're in Copenhagen.

22/10/2025: Placed reasonably close to the busy touristy centre, I wanted to find a decent place to eat i.e. somewhere authentic and not there to rip tourists off. Found Amalie near the palace. Lovely little place with a good menu and lovely staff -> all very engaging and happy to talk in fluent English (we did try a bit of Danish but it's a tough language). We had a couple of beers which were gorgeous and smorrebrod and a chicken salad, both fresh and very tasty. Would definitely recommend.
19/10/2025: This is my second time coming here and it's super cozy. And the food is really delicious.

23/11/2025: I found it by chance while out for a walk. And it was fantastic! Despite the cold, I enjoyed a cappuccino outside in the bright sunshine, along with an absolutely delicious puff pastry tart with cardamom. Simply heavenly.
23/11/2025: I visited this coffee shop 3 times, and each time I told myself it would be better and the customer service nicer (lol?) I tried pain au chocolate, cardamom croissant, cheescake and cappuccino. Coffee was okay, lil bit sour tho. The pain au chocolate was truly dryyyyy and cardamom croissant was flavorless. But my biggest issue is the customer service, the barista who served my coffee today totally didnt want to be there (auch), no eye contact, and slammed the coffee in front of me. I don't care about the small stuff like - no cappuccino saucers/little plates available or the atmosphere and such (that's likely personal preference for hospitality or style), but the barista's upset attitude is an issue for me. I'll choose Buka or Mormors next time.
