Excellent food and a great atmosphere!

Fantastic experience, fun and exciting, fantastic food, very unconventional service. Not a place to go for a romantic evening with your girlfriend if you want peace and quiet. Very high noise level but that is also part of the concept. However, the amount of alcohol served is just over the top.

This is spring break fine dining. All in all the experience was somehow interesting, but there were some major points that did not work for us. The first thing that was a bit over the top was me enjoying some of the first bites and the waiter then stopping by, physically grabbing my hand and stuffing it in my mouth. There is a line here and that’s on the wrong side for me. Especially since somebody spend time creating that bite and this way I had no idea what I ate. The next part were the non-alcoholic drinks which all tasted like diluted fruit sirup. I appreciate that the staff tried to dilute it a bit more after I mentioned it, but adding more water or a pinch of salt to a super sweet drink still does not make it a pairing like the wine one. To make this work with the food, you would need some acidity and a bit more depth in flavor. Going along with all the played „roughness“ like throwing cutlery on the table or hitting the glasses with the bottle when pouring drinks, the waiter then again tried to go an extra mile and put a cigarette in my mouth and light it with a candle. Although most of the acting here was fun, pouring hot candle wax over my t-shirt was not (at least not for me). All in all, the food was okay, but not particularly great when compared to food in general in Copenhagen. The concept here felt a bit like it was only half done and then finished with an insane amount of alcohol to cover up the missing parts. If you wanna go for „a wild night out“ with lots of alcohol, loud music and and some okay food, as all-in-one experience, that’s the place for you. If you want great food first, I recommend finding another restaurant and maybe hitting the bar later.

I booked this evening for our company. We knew exactly what we were getting into, and we were looking forward to it! We were greeted by a male waiter who was actually nice at first. We joked, and he was rude in a good way, which is part of the concept. Where the movie broke for me was when he suddenly became power-hungry. It's a festive dinner, and people talk to each other across tables. He thought I should "get the fuck out of the way and sit the fuck down".... Of course, he shouldn't decide that, and when I ignored him, he was about to throw me and the whole team out. Of course, I said that we can leave the party with the bad energy he had, but that I would only pay for the dishes we had so far. He insisted that we pay for everything. I immediately asked to speak to his manager. The manager was SUPER sweet and nice, and is the only reason there are 2 stars in service and not just 1. I think there had been problems with this waiter before, because the manager was very understanding, and apologized. The waiter came back, and must have had a shitball, because now he was suddenly very nice. I'm not sensitive, so it hasn't scared me away from visiting the place again, but a place like this, where you test boundaries, definitely shouldn't have power-hungry waiters with big egos.

It's hard to put into words, but definitely a must try experience.

Insane in the best way possible. Caviar bumps, burgundy in the glass and faithless on the speaker, all while everyone is topless. Must try.

Great evening at Punk Royale. Fantastic service and atmosphere. A realy uniqe fine dining experince that will not leave you sober either. The taste and the amount of food served is very good. A little simple on the drinks side, however, the served amount compensates. The place and interior design is very hip and audience is always so nice thanks to the increasing level of alcohol in the bloodstream. Overall very good experience, if you want fine dining with an experience and not afraid of getting tipsy/drunk along the way. The staff is amazing and makes the dinner unforgettable Dishies are very creative

A wild and different experience with lots of surprises. Not like everywhere else, and that's a strength.

“Once upon a time there was fine dining… then came Punk Royale.” Whether you agree with that or not, the restaurant certainly delivers on its promise of doing things differently. The evening was playful, loud, and completely unpretentious, with every course arriving as part of an experience rather than simply a meal. Every bite was delicious, and we left having had a genuinely great night. Punk Royale may not be conventional fine dining, but that’s precisely the point.

The place is chaotic and the food is unapologetic. Absolutely delicious. Come here if you want to have a great time.
