Today, September 8th, 2023, we explored the southern part of the island by bike. As in the north around the town of Sandvig, the south of the island also has beautiful places with varied landscapes to discover. Rocks, cliffs, sandy beaches, everything is represented. In the afternoon we took a break in a ☕ coffee near a watermill. The owners import cocoa from a farm on the Fiji Islands, visit them regularly, and make their own chocolates 🍫 and cakes from them. We were allowed to try the cocoa porridge, we had never heard of such a delicious chocolate taste. Production and harvesting are carried out under the premise of fair conditions.
