When i entered, the aroma i got of freash baked bread was amazing and i instantly knew this was gonna be good. The nice lady behind the counter gave me recommendations to grab the pumpkin buns. Also grabbed a Spandaur and a snail with chocolate. The buns where delicious and warm after coming straight out of the oven. I've lived in the area for 10 years and somehow missed this gem of a bakery. Don't be like me and miss out on something this good for so long.

It's hard for me to decide if the bread at Føtex is really bad, if R-Bakery is fantastic, or both at once. But it's always a surprising pleasure when I come home with bread from R! PS their desserts and open sandwiches are also in a class of their own 👏👌

Hvidovre's best bakery! Fully on par with (if not better) than the smart Copenhagen bakeries. ALWAYS good service from Rene and his team. We come again and again🤗

Didn't get any pictures of their Mardi Gras buns, but they sell the best traditional Mardi Gras bun of the year! Haven't tasted better 😋

There is good in the small buns, but the sesame bun with porter in it was very tasty and good. We also bought a cardamom spinner which was actually good but had way too much sugar sprinkled on top so it was too sweet. It could also have used a little more remonce. The cardamom flavor, on the other hand, was good. They had many temptingly large but expensive cakes. Will try one of the smaller ones another time.

20/06/2025: I was there with my 3-year-old son. The welcome was super friendly. No unnecessary paperwork. Pay and off you go (99 DKK for adults, free for children). Shoe rentals are included in the price. Coffee bar, two unisex restrooms, a kids' area, an overhang, and a slab – everything you need is there. Visit: Fridays from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Completely empty and pleasant for bouldering. I'd love to come back.

20/06/2025: Best Turkish bread with fresh ingredients and a kebab that melts in your mouth. World class service minded employee who always has a smile on his face and provides delicious food. Hvidovre's best kebab without a doubt 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
11/05/2025: Don't be fooled by the exterior - as they say: "Don't judge a book by its cover." The kebab station may not have the flashiest facade in town, but wait, where do they deliver the goods! Their durum kebab is nothing less than king! The homemade bread has just the right texture and taste – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The meat is in a class of its own: juicy, perfectly seasoned and clearly of high quality. On top of that, you get a wealth of fresh and delicious ingredients, which give both taste and balance to every bite. All in all a hidden gem for kebab lovers - I will definitely be back!
