A fantastic restaurant for Danish food. The two appetizers, "Three Kinds of Herring" and "Fish Platter," were outstanding. The portions are huge and incredibly delicious, so much so that I almost couldn't finish them despite my big appetite. The Easter beer and aquavit were the perfect accompaniments. The service and atmosphere are also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit it again on my next trip to Aarhus.

super cozy, good solid "inn" atmosphere, the waiters were polite, pleasant and fit well with the atmosphere of the place, however, not once during the visit were we asked if the food was good, if everything was as it should be or if anything was missing. The tablecloth on the table was dirty, there was a lot of dust in the corners.

It was a fantastic trip to the Town Hall Café. We were a group of 4. One had a fourth-day hangover. Our waiter caught on quickly and saved us all with a schnapps. Without a drink, the hero is no good. And when you don't have a big sword or duct tape, you have to make do with a schnapps.

A bit of a mixed experience. Food is OK bordering good - big portions but quality and taste only OK. But the seating can be terrible. Small tables where you have to sit at an angle because the plates that the food is served on takes 1/3 iof the table. Add to that the tables are very close to the neighbouring table - like 10-15cm. And with the risc of sitting more or less in the isle. Got a nice hit on my elbow sitting just normally. Not returning.

A typical Danish restaurant with delicious traditional dishes. The marinated herring appetizer and the fish main course were delicious. The brandy served throughout the meal was also excellent. Thank you to the waiters for offering it to us. Skål, thank you. The French and Lebanese team.

Best danish dishes ever 👍 visited the restaurant based on hotel recommendation. Was wowed by the dishes we had. Certainly recommend tourist that dropped by Aarhus to visit this restaurant for good Danish dish. The staffs were very attentive.
