Ravelinen København

In my family, Ravelinen is a regular gathering point throughout the year and a place where we always feel comfortable. The food is both good and beautiful, but the atmosphere is always warm and informal. We love that it is a place where we feel relaxed and welcome as we are, while at the same time we always leave full and happy after a lovely meal.

What an absolutely fantastic meal. We wanted to try some proper traditional Danish food while we were in Copenhagen, and Ravelinen was a brilliant choice. We had the veal and redfish fillet, and both were absolutely incredible. Beautifully cooked, full of flavour and made with fantastic ingredients. The service was some of the best we’ve experienced. Friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, and it made the evening feel really special. It is a little pricey, but honestly, it was well worth the money. We finished with a delicious plum pastry with homemade honey ice cream, followed by some lovely homemade local schnapps. The honey ice cream was particularly good. A beautiful traditional Danish restaurant, fantastic food, brilliant service and a really memorable evening.

A very pleasant lunch at Ravelinen. I have enjoyed lunch here twice a year for the past 30 years, with friends, family and colleagues, and it has remained a place I am happy to return to. The food is well prepared and rooted in classic Danish cuisine, with good ingredients and generous but well-balanced portions. The staff are friendly, attentive and professional without being intrusive. The location by the old fortifications and water gives the restaurant a calm atmosphere, despite being close to the city. It is a relaxed and traditional setting that feels genuinely Danish. Overall, Ravelinen offers good food, welcoming service and a lovely setting. I highly recommend Ravelinen to my fellow Danes and tourists alike.

Super cozy, good service and the food is delicious

Great experience! I appreciated that the menu had options for those of us who don’t eat red meat. Presentation was great. Our server was professional, friendly, and very patient with our request to split the bill. There were multiple bumps in the process with US credit cards and she remained cheerful throughout. Thank you for making our last night in Copenhagen special.

Once again a lovely visit to Ravelinen. We sat with the most beautiful view of the water. All the starters and main courses we ordered tasted absolutely fantastic, and the wine that was recommended was spot on! Lovely Saturday evening in every way!
