The starter and dessert were really good, while the main course (braised pig) was far too greasy. It should be able to be done better.

We were a party of 7 people who spent the night in Kridthuset. We had a three-course menu, consisting of hot-smoked salmon, apple-braised pig and dessert with apple and ice cream. The food was well prepared and tasted good and was served at an appropriate pace. Three of us ordered the wine menu, and unfortunately we had to move to serve the main course and dessert. The dessert was eaten before we got the dessert wine. The breakfast buffet was nice, but you had to wait a very long time, as it was located in a small, narrow room in relation to how many guests there were.

Very nice place with good food. Really good location with a nice little beach. Primarily young staff who do their best, and with some experience will surely grow with the task. Lived at the top with a view of the beach, the bay and the sea. The bed is too "soft" for my taste, but it is very personal and others will probably prefer it. The visit was from 2nd to 3rd August 2024 and I slept with the windows open. Remember to get in the sea. Also in winter 😉

Jeg fik en frokost med fiskefilet og en øl, som var virkeligt god. Man skal ikke være bange for at portionen er for lille.

Vi spiste her en lørdag aften, og vi blev nok en smule skuffede over stedet. Det var en dejlig sommeraften, men der var ikke dækket op udenfor, og vi sad desværre indenfor og spiste. Maden var udmærket, men heller ikke mere end det, og da vi gik, syntes vi ikke, at vi havde fået nok "value for money". Vi fik kylling og fisk med kartofler til, men der var alt for få kartofler til to personer. Til dessert fik vi chokolademousse, og den var decideret kedelig. Til gengæld var brødet og laksen til starter og forret virkelig godt. Rejecocktailen var god, men den var så lille og indeholdt så få rejer, at det næsten var en joke.
