Rebel København

Excellent food in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. The setting is pleasant, although the interior is a little dark. Our waiter was somewhat quirky, but friendly and attentive. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience in Copenhagen.

We visited Restaurant Rebel last week and chose their tasting menu – and what an experience! Every single dish was a positive surprise. The flavours were really well put together, the ingredients were of high quality, and the dishes were both beautiful and creative. You could clearly feel the passion behind the food. The service also deserves great praise. The staff were smiling, present and very competent. They presented the dishes in a good and relaxed way and made us feel welcome the whole evening. The atmosphere at the restaurant was cozy and informal, while at the same time the experience felt exclusive. It is rare that both food, service and atmosphere come together in a higher unity – but they did here. Thank you for a fantastic evening. We will definitely come again and can highly recommend Restaurant Rebel to everyone who loves gastronomy and good experiences.

The food was delicious, and the service was good too. You should give it a try. However, the experience might be slightly less enjoyable if you're sitting in the basement.

Really a good experience, would love to come again.

We had a lovely evening, where we had 5 different snacks followed by a starter, main course, dessert and coffee. We had ordered a wine menu with 4 glasses of wine. The food they serve has a good taste and they definitely have control of the kitchen. The wines are unfortunately served in glasses that are far too large, so it seems as if you don't get anything special in the glass. The food and drinks were served by 4 different waiters, who were not Danish speakers. They can be difficult to understand, especially when there is a bit of noise in the restaurant. Price in relation to quality and portion size may not quite live up to my expectations.

Good service with focus on the guest. High quality of the ingredients and good class of preparation. The dish with Jerusalem artichoke puree and chicken skin was the most interesting and not tried before. The place is small, cozy but the noise level is high.

We visited Rebel during Dining Week. We had high expectations as the food sounded delicious and the restaurant was recommended by the Michelin Guide. None of the dishes/snacks we had didn't taste good, but only a few of the items were exceptionally good. The waffles with ham and West Coast cheese and the Jerusalem artichoke soup were fantastic! But the main course didn't taste like anything we couldn't have made ourselves at home. It was also disappointing that the hygiene level was so low that there were dirty seats and floors. The surroundings did not live up to the standard of this type of restaurant. It was fun to try, but at those prices, expectations were set higher, and everything should have worked - and unfortunately that was not the case.

DinnersDays menú. As always, it is a pleasure to visit Rebel. Food is always amazing, with variety in food and the ways to put ingredients together in beauty and taste. Why 4 stars and not 5 you might ask. Well they did forget an ingredients on the main course, so we got our meet twice, a very nice solution but that mistake took a star away. Staff is always friendly, funny and with a passion of serving, thats missing in many other restaurants. If you have never visited Rebel, you have to come. If you have been here before, I hope you will come back, we sure will! It is not just great food, it is an experience, and worth the money.

Fine dining, just really mediocre. Asked for salt for the very fresh pork jaws, after which the waiter started clearing tables and serving other customers. While my food got cold. Not exactly a bad experience, but certainly not something to shout hooray for. Best I can say is that the last two wines on the wine menu were pretty ok. I've forgotten the rest tomorrow.
