Delicious delicious food, delicious wine menu and good service, small with good location and cozy atmosphere.

In early September, we ate at Rebel as a family of three and chose the à la carte menu. We found the ordering process a little confusing. We would select a small plate and then be asked how many servings we wanted, but it was not clear what constituted a serving. For example, the potato dish arrived with four potatoes, and we were unsure whether that represented one serving or more. Once we had given our order, I asked our server whether we had ordered enough for three people. He said the amount was perfect and encouraged us to order three portions of the steak, when I had initially suggested two. I had not realized at the time that the steak was not considered a small plate, which was my oversight. In the end, however, three steaks proved to be more than we needed, and two of us left most of our steak untouched. Given that we had asked for guidance, a little more direction on the overall quantity would have been helpful. The food itself was mixed. The truffle potato was beautifully presented but bland and lacking in flavour. The Vietnamese meatball was tasty, particularly the black sesame, although there was little else in the dish to suggest Vietnamese flavours. There were some interesting and creative elements, but not every dish worked equally well for us. With two glasses of wine, a beer and a soft drink, the bill was approximately €450 for three people. That is a substantial spend, and we were a little disappointed to realize that we could have spent less with clearer portion guidance. Overall, there were enjoyable elements to the meal, but the experience did not quite meet our expectations.

A huge pleasure! First of all, we had a super delicious food experience beyond the usual. In addition, we had a really wonderful waiter who was committed and personal. A lot of good food and wine, especially their lobster bisque was just in the cupboard. Rebel is highly recommended. We will definitely come again.

A spontaneous lunch – a real stroke of luck! We spontaneously decided to have lunch here today and were simply thrilled. Despite the busy lunch break, the service was incredibly quick, attentive, and friendly. The food arrived promptly and was simply fantastic: fresh, crisp, and cooked to perfection. The portion size was just right to keep us energized and happy throughout the afternoon without leaving us feeling stuffed. You can immediately tell that they use high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is cozy and offers a wonderful escape from everyday life. For the outstanding quality, the value for money is unbeatable. Thank you for a wonderful lunch break – we'll definitely be back more often!

We visited Restaurant Rebel last week and chose their tasting menu – and what an experience! Every single dish was a positive surprise. The flavours were really well put together, the ingredients were of high quality, and the dishes were both beautiful and creative. You could clearly feel the passion behind the food. The service also deserves great praise. The staff were smiling, present and very competent. They presented the dishes in a good and relaxed way and made us feel welcome the whole evening. The atmosphere at the restaurant was cozy and informal, while at the same time the experience felt exclusive. It is rare that both food, service and atmosphere come together in a higher unity – but they did here. Thank you for a fantastic evening. We will definitely come again and can highly recommend Restaurant Rebel to everyone who loves gastronomy and good experiences.

Excellent food in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. The setting is pleasant, although the interior is a little dark. Our waiter was somewhat quirky, but friendly and attentive. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience in Copenhagen.

The food was delicious, and the service was good too. You should give it a try. However, the experience might be slightly less enjoyable if you're sitting in the basement.
