It may well be that Refborg only has 3 stars, but Torben and his staff worked magic in the kitchen and served the most delicious dishes and provided the best service. We were there for lunch and dinner and I must say that everything was quite simply under control.

Excellent place and kindness of its collaborators

Hotel located in a great location overlooking the Lego House. We were struck by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Not only did they welcome us every morning at reception with a bright smile, but they were always available to answer our questions and requests. Excellent breakfast: more savory than sweet, but with fresh products. The typical Danish bread is delicious, which we recommend everyone to buy at the town's pastry shop to take home. Very clean room. The only problem was the shower without a riser and with a curtain which got the whole bathroom wet. For the rest the stay was very pleasant. We recommend anyone passing through to go to the Lego House to stay at the property!

Cozy place was for the Christmas fair

Abbiamo festeggiato qui la sera del mio compleanno. Bellissimo locale, atmosfera calda e personale molto gentile. Come entrée ci hanno portato del burro aromatizzato alla nocciola da spalmare nel loro pane nero buonissimo. Abbiamo mangiato una tartare di salmone speciale, condita in modo inusuale. A seguire una sorta di hamburger con cipolla stufata e patate con salsa yogurt molto buono (ottima qualità della carne), e una wiener schnitzel con un’ottima panatura. Il tutto accompagnato da una birra locale artigianale veramente buona. Considerando i prezzi diversi rispetto all’Italia, rimane comunque un ristorante di categoria medio-alta.

We stayed here as two adults without children with one room per person for five nights. We enjoyed it very much. The Refborg is very pretty, very authentic and overall lovingly run by private individuals. Therefore it is neither a business hotel nor a resort hotel. The interaction is friendly and very familiar. It is very cozy in Refborg. The rooms are not huge, I didn't need them, they really had everything you needed: comfortable beds, clean, pretty bathroom, tea maker, desk... It's an older style hotel, which contributes a lot to the coziness and well-being. If you are looking for a business hotel, as mentioned above, you may not get your money's worth here. Particularly noteworthy is the lovely breakfast, which is also nicely laid out and has lots of nice things. There is no espresso, but it is generally not common in Denmark. Another plus is the location, 1 minute to the grocery store, 5 minutes to the House of Lego, just under 8-10 minutes to the restaurants. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our holiday week, so I can't say anything about it, but if it's open it seems like a tip. Overall really recommended!

Cozy and neat premises. Can be highly recommended.

Teníamos grandes expectativas. . Y no estaban decepcionados, PERO; El filete aunque excelente carne estaba mal cocido. Como había pedido raro esto era un problema. Ligeramente decepcionante y sin respuesta cuando preguntamos al respecto Las patatas estaban deliciosas al igual que el pan y la mantequilla integral. Magnífico vino tinto. Tuvimos carpaccio para empezar que estaba delicioso. Todos servidos con una ensalada de tomates que había salido directamente de la nevera y era doloroso comer que estaba tan frío. No tocamos esto ya que estaba helado g frío . . Palabra con filete. La ensalada está buena. Congelación dolorosa... no es bueno. Tuvimos un caballero encantador (Jonathan) servirnos que hizo un buen trabajo. Este restaurante tiene potencial para ser excelente, pero no lo hace con errores básicos. No es una comida barata, así que debería ser 10 de cada 10... Pero volveríamos.
