A mediocre innings. There was really nothing to complain about the food - nor anything surprising or anything that raised it above average.
The atmosphere was characterized by the fact that the service was extremely slow, which for us meant that we only got our first service after an hour and a quarter. It was cold prawns in a bowl, so the production time hardly dragged on
On the whole, the service was dull. No one who asked about the food told us what we ate.
In total it took three hours without starter or dessert.

It's a shame the place is excellent, but the experience was ruined by the wait.
We had pre-ordered a 5-course menu that was advertised at a good price in week 7.
After 1.5 hours we had had 2(!) dishes.
And the last 3 dishes were also waiting.
The place was certainly well visited, but when you have agreed to pre-order and pay for the food before the visit - then it was not OK AT ALL.
The waitresses were nice and we don't blame them.
In addition, the beef was both well-cooked and tough, but we couldn't boast about it. It was a Thursday evening and we had to meet early the next day. We arrived at 7.45pm and didn't finish until close to 11pm!
I will hardly go there again.

I ate at Anker in connection with Gastro Week. We got a 4-course menu consisting of
Appetizer: Rimmed scallop w. creamy beetroot, winter roots and horseradish cream
Mid course: Marbled veal carpaccio w. fermented mushroom puree, pickled beech hats, fried capers and rosemary oil
Main course: Fried Sashi beef loin w. artichoke risotto, baked parsley, roasted leek and sauce demi glace
Dessert: Apple panna cotta w. tart apples, applesauce, warm sweet spices and sorrel
And also a wine menu
All the dishes just tasted really good and one of the people I was eating with said that the main course is one of the best he has ever tasted. Huge recommendation from here.

Dinner week at Anker. Have previously had a really good Dinner week menu at Anker, but this year it was not particularly good. Far too many bland, but nice, side dishes that did nothing good for the food: pea shoots, very thinly sliced root vegetables that tasted of nothing. The thinly sliced scallops were also completely tasteless. And so it went on. The main course had tendon meat and, again, side dishes that tasted of nothing. The same with the dessert. Practice
And then just a wine menu, which wasn't cheap, but the glasses were so small that there wasn't enough for a dish. Again practice. Can otherwise like Anker, but I wonder if this was the last time.

We were served an intermediate course the second we sat down, which then went to another table next to us, so it was a bit of chaos to start with, but the food tasted very good and a perfectly fine portion after 5 courses, I could well imagine that 3 courses would probably be too little

My girlfriend and I visited Restaurant Anker in connection with dining week on 9/2. We had ordered 5 dishes and the food itself did not disappoint at all. The food was nicely presented and was absolutely fantastic for the money. We had a waiter who was new, who perhaps lacked a bit of training as well, and at the same time it sounded like they were affected by illness and therefore understaffed. We noticed this in the way that it took a long time for the used plates to be removed and for the next course to be sent - about 20 minutes from the time you finished until the plates were removed. This resulted in slightly uneven waiting time between dishes. In addition to this, 2 of our dishes were switched around so that they were served in the wrong order compared to the order. We got an apology from our waiter who explained that there had been a mistake between us and another table. Compensation was then offered in the form of a glass of wine or a drink, which we happily accepted.
It must be added that our server really got into her work, but maybe she just needed a little flow and a little better training. In any case, the will was 100 percent there to learn more things.
In short - Really good food but the service just lacked a good push

Efter flere besøg blev så dette, det sidste - maden var oversaltet og tjeneren kunne kun beklage - fik mistanke om fisken måske ikke var helt frisk, så den skulle "skjules" i salt - købte herefter en dessert til at dæmpe smagen, men her var knap 2 teskefulde!!
mine 3 ledsagere er enig i denne vurdering.

Really nice and cozy place with good service and good wine.
We got fish dishes, and as such there is really nothing to complain about, it is as described. Of course you have to like fish :) For us there was just no wow factor in the food, it tasted good, was nicely presented, but nothing extraordinary. The smoked tuna was REALLY good though :D
Good service, there wasn't a wine menu for this, but she was nice and even made one for me :)
Pleasant evening at the marina with a nice view of the boats and the light from the buildings on the other side.

Restauranten har meldt sig til Århus dining week, hvilket er godt og udfordrende.
Stedet var måske lidt presset med de mange gæster, som de havde taget ind.
Det var en god mad og man blev mæt.
Et hyggeligt sted på havnen som jeg også skal se en sommer.
Kommer gerne igen😉⚓
