Dining experience at Anker in Aarhus After reading the reviews, I was a little skeptical about whether this was where we should have dinner this weekend. But when we arrived first, there was a kind of pep talk for the waiters and the new employees — and believe me, it was a good sign! It was a really nice evening. The service was top notch, and the food tasted like a dream. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars!

Exceptional service from our waiter – truly a gem! Having enjoyed Fish & Chips many times in the UK, I can honestly say this was the best I’ve ever had. It was prepared to perfection by a highly talented Greek chef. A wonderful place with an amazing atmosphere, right by the harbour – absolutely worth a visit.

Un lugar muy agradable y relajado en el agua. El personal es muy amable y tuvimos una bonita vista del puerto. El interior es muy cálido y crea un buen ambiente. Los "moules" eran buenos.

Vi fik 3 dagens fisk som var rigtig gode men fik også 2 bøf og de var seje og med mange sener og måtte lade dem gå ud. Betjening var venlige og hjælpsomme

16/06/2025: Nydelig mat! Veldig god carpaccio til forrett og en stor porsjon med perfekt tilberedt oksekjøtt til hovedrett. Crispy chips og en luftig bernaise som gjorde dette til en svært god opplevelse. Vi fikk også en god start med bobler og dansk flagg på bordet! Hyggelige priser og store porsjoner med mat.
21/05/2025: Very cozy place and really nice food. We were 6 people and celebrated a birthday 🇩🇰. I got 2 dishes, carpaccio for starter and beef cuvette for main course and fries for side dish. It was all really delicious, especially the meat. I think I got a little extra meat, since the last 3 pieces had a tendon. But it didn't matter. Others also got tartar and beetroot for starters. And for main course fish of the day and burger. For dessert some got creme brulee and brownie. Everything tasted very good. Follow me for more tips about Aarhus and other places

05/01/2026: Nice restaurant in a beautiful harbor setting. It is located on the first floor with a good view of the area to the south. I had the pleasure of trying their smørrebrød. In that context, I became acquainted with the following: The house tartar. A slice of rye bread with plenty of beef, a slice of pickled cucumber, cress and pepper root. Not mixed with mustard or garnished with capers. The house breaded fish fillet. Placed on a bed of lettuce with a small dollop of remoulade and half a cherry tomato. The 3rd piece looked like the vet's night meal. It consisted of sliced ​​meat with a little "salad" - a dollop, cress, half a mini tomato and a little cheese. I did not find the liver pâté. The food did not fully meet my expectations.
