Restaurant Applaus Aalborg

Delicious food, good and varied service. Experienced a bit of a bad atmosphere at the neighboring table, which was resolved impeccably by the staff.

I was very thrilled to visit Restaurant Applaus since I had heard that they had newly renovated and relocated. The food was absolutely fantastic and not like anything else in Aalborg. It’s different than other Restaurants since the portions of the menu are perfectly sized, comparing with other places where I have dined and ended up not feeling full at the end of the night. The courses have a variety of different ingredients and cultures making them an absolutely extraordinary experience. The location is perfectly located in the city for easy access to continue the night after a nice meal. The atmosphere and decoration itself was beautiful and made me feel like I’m in a capital city. The service was just as good as the food. I would l definitely recommend going and having amazing an amazing menu. Thank you so much for a lovely evening. I will be visit again very soon!

Celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here. Can definitely recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant. We had 15 really good meals, and it's been a long time since I've experienced such nice staff. And it's not even too expensive. I forgot to take pictures of the main course and side dishes.

We had the eight-course menu with wine pairings. Our seats were outside in the lovely courtyard. Our service was excellent. The food, except for the meat in the main course (which was unfortunately only lukewarm to cold), was outstanding. The wines were very well chosen and paired perfectly with the food. Unfortunately, the final espresso was undrinkable—far too hot and bitter. If I ever come back to Aalborg, I would definitely eat here again.
