2 dining week menus were ordered in advance - When we arrived, we were "almost" recognized... The feeling of being awaited with joy was the feeling from the first second. We were then given the choice between some other dishes as well, if you weren't too keen on what you had ordered in advance, you had the option of choosing something else. Absolutely perfect! 👌🏼. The food was served at our pace - and really tasted like the birds were singing. The soup was nice and creamy, and not too smoked. The beef jaws could be chewed with a half-baked eyebrow, it fell apart upon meeting the fork. And as the top of the good food mountain came the "apple cake" - a delicious combination of sour and sweet 🤤. Pia was sweet and present, the atmosphere relaxed and pleasant. It will definitely not be our last visit, thanks for the food ❤️

Really good food and nice staff

We held our wedding reception here. The company was at the start of a season, so we attended two trial dinners (the season before and the season the company was held in), which provided the basis for the menu and the wine. It gave us plenty of opportunity to ask any questions we had and to agree on all the practical matters. The party hit a hot day, so the reception was held in the backyard. There was really good service and our waiter was really good at coordinating with us. When we had forgotten the time while unwrapping the presents, she kindly came and asked when we should go for snacks and bubbles, so we were able to stick to the schedule roughly, while what was supposed to be served hot was hot and vice versa. The servants had a high level of service, and helped e.g. with moving gifts when we moved inside. For dinner we moved into their function room. Again fantastic service. There was nothing missing either in the guests' glasses or on their plates. Those who did not drink wine were quickly asked what they wanted instead. For the main course, everyone got a nice side dish in a quantity that most people could eat, but soon after came extra potatoes, sauce and meat, so even those with a big appetite had plenty - while there were still side dishes on their plates. Perhaps a minute or two too much was spent on the presentation of drinks for the food, but otherwise the service was terrific. All the dishes were served at a very good pace, so that all 26 people got food almost at the same time. The timing of the dishes was coordinated by our waiter with the toast master, so that there was time for both the food and the features. After the meal, one would have liked the waiters to be a little more above the guests in terms of coming around and taking drink orders - something we could easily fix by going to their desk. Everything else was quite terrific. It has been an incredibly good and safe experience, with great service, food and wine!
