Restaurant Charlottenlund Fort Gentofte

Excellent food. Got a deal as a Christmas present and the servings were nice and tasty. We waited 25 minutes for our first serving and even though we had asked for our schnapps to go with the food first, it came straight away. We had asked for a cold schnapps and the waiter stated that the schnapps was in a cooler upstairs in the bar. But after 25 minutes in the glass it had warmed up. We had not drunk the schnapps when our food arrived and when I pointed out that we had asked for our schnapps to be cold, I was told by the knowledgeable waiter that schnapps should not be drunk cold. I'm an old waiter myself and I don't think it's a waiter's job to tell me how he thinks a schnapps should be drunk. I might have hoped that we had been offered a new glass of colder schnapps since it was untouched.

Really fantastic restaurant with delicious food, nice view and good service. Have been here 3 times and it has always been a really nice experience. Can highly recommend :)

Very nice evening with delicious good food and great service. Beautiful music with 7 Heaven and guest Leif Carlsson. "The Prince of Rock."

We were in the 1st team for lunch. The rye bread was cold and boring, although the light bread was a little better, but overall the bread basket was boring for an otherwise ok lunch service and service in general.

I think it is stingy when you order a tasting menu with a wine menu that you then have to pay extra for water, but that is the only detail I can criticize about the experience. It was really delicious food, so good that I got to eat it before taking pictures of the first two courses. Well matched wines and we had to go on at a certain time, which we told the staff and they kept perfect track of the time. Definitely a place I will come back to.
