Restaurant Ellegården Hillerød

We have visited Restaurant Ellegården several times for parties, and it is always a pleasure. There is a very special calm and atmosphere in the idyllic premises that makes you feel welcome immediately. The food is always top-notch – classic dishes made with good ingredients, where nothing is ever lacking. The details are well thought out, and the service is professional and with a smile, even if there are many people at the table. It is clear that they have extensive experience in handling parties, so that as a host you can just sit back and enjoy the party. If you are looking for a place in Hillerød with soul, good food and personal service, Ellegården can be highly recommended. We are already looking forward to the next time!

Cozy place. I celebrated my birthday there and it was really good and cozy, good service

Calm and very homely atmosphere. The service is really good, very attentive and accessible. The food is super good, everything is made from scratch and especially their vanilla ice cream is recommended, in addition to very delicious starters and main courses. A little tip: If you look at their menu on the website for Friday, and you want a dish from Thursday, you can write to them and they could probably solve it. After dinner, we were lucky enough to get a tour where we saw, among other things, their hall for events, and our waiter also told us about the farm and the history surrounding it. Ellegaard is putting up walls for an art exhibition, with very beautiful and interesting art by Per Møller, which is possible to buy to take home. We will definitely return in the near future.
