Restaurant Flammen Glostrup

When you hear about this restaurant it should be top class, but that doesn't apply here in Glostrup, boring decor to squeeze as many people in as possible. The buffet was disappointing, the pieces of meat that were marinated tasted almost the same and a little too sweet marinades. The buffet was not set up appropriately, the starter with salmon was more or less hidden in a corner and it was very peeled and cold. The red roast was tough as well and kangaroo as well, however the veal culotte was absolutely perfect. The downside of a buffet with standing cuts is 1. That the meat and other things are cold. 2. you can only get a roast quality of the meat. So to the service level, it was for 4 stars, and would have gotten 5 if I hadn't had to stand and wait 15 - 20 minutes before someone approached me. But then a sweet and competent waitress came within 2 minutes. cleared a table and sat me down took a drink order and brought it within a second, then she kindly asked if I had been there before, and I hadn't, so she gave me a little story about where what was. At the same time, I could feel throughout the meal that she was kind of nearby if I needed her. Payment is made at the counter where you enter, it can be both convenient or not so it's a matter of taste, I think it worked well and that I could pay without having to decide whether I wanted to tip or not, was a liberating thing that many restaurants have unfortunately put on their cash registers. But unfortunately not a 100%, experience and not a place I think you would want to open one of the more exclusive wines as the atmosphere and food quality were miles apart from a bottle of red wine for, for example, 600 kr. I might come again but then it will only be because I quickly want a meal in Dalle Valle quality. But I would probably rather choose, for example, Big Ben, which I think has a much higher quality of food, which is hot because it is not a buffet, and much, much cheaper and with the same high level of service. Good service, really good food.

Food is good. Not great, but good. Service is seriously horrible. Atmosphere was ok. Not very clean. Very loud. And actually chaotic. Tables were set-up odd. Hard to maneuver around.

Too small and not quite the same as if you had been to the one inside Nyrupsgade. (^.^)

We loved everything! Food was great - good quality and variety of stuff. Service was so kind and friendly. Our waitress was very sweet and explain us everything in English since it was our first time visiting the restaurant. Absolutely coming back in here ❤️

A really good experience, we were very satisfied with the whole thing.

Delicious food and good service Expect some noise and hustle

We have visited Flammen in Glostrup twice within a few months and both times we have been extremely satisfied with both the food and the service.

It's just a shame when you come to visit and when you're done eating you first get told that the soft ice cream machine is broken but we have other desserts but it could be that you should have said that the dessert was half price since you can't deliver the full program
