Restaurant Fridas København

Stopped for a beer on the way back to the hotel. Nice staff. Via was sitting outside and it started raining heavily so we had to move inside. There were more people than I thought inside...

Lovely family run restaurant. I visited it several times while in Copenhagen. Herring and veal liver were my favourites!

Very cozy place with a really retro interior from the pre-war era, in dark brown shades. The food is extremely traditional, with e.g. classic open sandwiches and red porridge with cream. The portions are good in size. The price is also quite high, at 100-130 kr. for a piece of open sandwiches. Count on three or four pieces for an adult man, and at least two pieces for the average guest. The price can run a bit high. There are no frills when it comes to dishes. They appear good and robust, but without the wow effect you can find in more modern places with open sandwiches. In other words, the food is tasty but not for Instagram. The service is nice, polite, lively, and accommodating. Nothing to complain about. It needs a little more Instagram effect to bring home the last star. Especially considering the price. But the quality is fine, and you can safely visit the place and have a good experience.

Being in Copenhagen without a visit to Fridas should not be allowed. Lovely Danish food and waiters who enjoy their jobs….and their customers. Looking forward to my next visit. Please note that the evening menu does not include open sandwiches.

Habíamos intentado entrar en este restaurante antes, pero sin reserva fue imposible. Está lleno de ambiente con una extraña colección de piezas danesas y es claramente amado por la gente local. La comida era buena, el servicio un poco irregular pero bien y los precios buenos para la ubicación. Aunque no lo tenía entiendo que el arenque era realmente sabroso. Tuve un gran arranque y aunque lamentablemente mi weiner estaba bastante quemado todos los demás que vi se veían bien.

Este es un lugar acogedor, con buen almuerzo danés, precios razonables y un servicio amable y fresco. El lugar es absolutamente recomendable.
