Good restaurant, with high-level food

Good food. Had sandwiches. Well cooked.

We visited the place, to our great delight. My wife is pregnant, and we had two children with us. The children were well received, received attention from the staff in a good way, and each ate a children's dish and an ice cream dessert that the waiter offered despite the fact that this was not on the menu (and at a really good price). My wife and I had the tasting menu, where the restaurant replaced the tartare with an alternative, at no extra cost. The food was well balanced, and the portions were fine for a tasting menu, and the food came at a good pace, which was perfect for us having children with us. The waiter found some non-alcoholic wine for my wife (without us having to look at the menu), again at a good price. Overall, we felt that the restaurant is a rare combination of child-friendliness and good food - we will definitely come again.

Food and service top notch, but the interior can seem a bit dark/impersonal for someone in the 80+ segment. Sincerely, E.M.

Good food. Portions a little on the minimal side. Especially the dessert was small. Good and attentive service.

The two fish dishes we got were too salty. Especially one, which I also pointed out to the waiter, was so salty that it ruined the taste and I let the dish go out. I was actually expecting a reduction in price or other acknowledgment. BUT nothing... and I didn't 'complain' further as I didn't want to spoil the otherwise good atmosphere. The other dishes were fine.

Can ONLY recommend! My husband and I visited Frodes on Saturday and both the food, wine and service were top notch. We will definitely come again.
