Had a good evening, good service and food Very welcoming staff with a twinkle in their eye. Got Faroese salmon, country food - duck breast, cheese plate, chocolate mousse Salmon was delicious, I personally could have used a little smoked cheese in the dish Country food - duck breast, the dish was nicely put together with druge-sov and misc. Root vegetables, mushrooms and moss. however the meat was a bit on the dry side could have wished it was a bit more tender The cheese plate was delicious and there was great flexibility regarding what kind of cheeses we didn't want and the kitchen managed to hit it really well, big praise Chocolate mousse, absolutely amazing, must try it again, was served with fresh berries and perfect plum. The restaurant itself is a former horse stable where tables are arranged in horse pens where you sit on benches, which means that you can really make your own company. However, I wish there were cushions to sit on. We were very satisfied with our visit.

We had the pleasure of attending Pichardt's legendary Game Night and it was a wonderful experience! As industry professionals for many years, we are not exactly the easiest guests to impress, but this event exceeded all expectations. Every element of the evening was completely thought out, from the beautifully presented dishes to the relaxed, professional service. The staff were welcoming and managed to create a warm and homely atmosphere, while they presented the wonderful dishes with great expertise. It is rare that we experience food where there is absolutely nothing to put a finger on - but this was the case here. Every bite was a delight, imbued with carefully selected ingredients and fantastically composed flavors that testified to an enormous passion for gastronomy. We noticed that many of the other guests were repeat guests, and that is completely understandable. We definitely intend to return as well and make it a regular tradition. Pichardt is gastronomy at a high level, but without pretense or unnecessary bragging. Well done, Pichardt family! We are already looking forward to the next time we are allowed to be part of this very special experience – it will undoubtedly be a pleasure again!

Got a herring with eggs, onions, potatoes and other goodies, shared a delicious chicken salad with the wife, a cold beer, good and polite service and the old barn converted into a restaurant is just top notch

Seems a bit cold, dark and boring. But the food is delicious and the service fresh and friendly.

Treat yourself and your loved ones to a visit to the Generalen restaurant at Langeland by Tranekær Castle. Lovely, well-prepared and tasty Danish/French food. Pleasant service and operation. Maybe you meet the Count from Tranekær castle. A visit worth driving for. Enjoy.
