4 adults and 2 children arrived at Hvide hest, where they were warmly welcomed and made sure the children had something to draw with and on immediately. The children's plate with meatballs, vegetables and fruit was super delicious. The fact that you can buy roast pork alone without gravy and potatoes suited him perfectly at 7 years old. The rest of us got roast pork which was cooked perfectly. When the children hadn't finished eating, the waiter came and offered buckets so they could have it with them. Great service, that they offer it before you have to ask. The price is also affordable. And the sweetest waiters.

Nice place to eat. Always really good food. Even when you come with a slightly larger group, the service is top notch and the food is quickly on the table in ample quantities. The prices must be said to be reasonable.

Have visited several times with large and small groups and the service was fast and efficient, we didn't need anything. They were really good at bringing drinks and keeping the mood high. Ad libitum drinks are a good option and their fried pork had mixed opinions, I got some good pieces while some others got some soft and chewy pieces. The plaice could have been crispier but tasted good, as did the chicken salad. Definitely one of the better places on Bakken and at a good price. Located on one side of the big stage. If you sit outside in good weather, it's the best.

Best Stegt Flæsk med Persille Sovs. Big Portions. We had Birthday there. Very friendly personnel and they come with extra sauce!

16/08/2025: Incredibly tasty ice cream, delicious consistency and knowledgeable service - i.e. the staff, in addition to being friendly, could answer in detail about the production of the ice cream. Particularly delicious pistachio that tasted of lots of good ingredients. However, the “Bastogne” ice cream could use another name - for example “coffee and cake” as it clearly tasted more of coffee than Bastogne. However, I was “warned” about the coffee taste before buying, so it doesn't detract :-) Lyngby department

01/10/2025: The most charming setting for a dinner party It is not the first time we have used "Kilden" for our dinner party, and it certainly will not be the last. In the middle of Dyrehaven, the restaurant provides the most charming setting for a party. Our guests were warmly welcomed outside the restaurant, and inside various drinks and snacks were served. The dinner consisted of three courses, all of which lived up to Kilden's usual high standard – deliciously prepared and full of balanced flavor. As a vegetarian, I was very pleasantly surprised when tasty alternatives were served. After dinner, coffee and snacks were served. All the guests were impressed and felt really well taken care of by the attentive waiters. The entire evening was well coordinated by the staff in terms of speeches and other features. All in all, a great success and definitely good value for money.
18/09/2025: Absolutely fantastic and well-prepared food. The place is full of history and the setting is really worth traveling for. We will definitely come back another time!
